Why the heck are you bothering to dock it? The BWD just use shuttles to move cargo and personnel. It's easier.

They are good at letting you keep your ships undocked and at the ready though. Nothing says "you feeling lucky, punk" like a fleet of fighters and cruisers ready to FTL in at a moments notice.

meh, shuttle hangars take up a lot of space, courier boats work better for the occasional transfer of materials because they can just use the docking ports
