The next wipe is going to make me sad

This entire wipe situation is a great analogy with our real lives, isn't it?

Death is inevitable and we'll never know when it's going to happen. But the point is.... Enjoy life as much as you can without worrying too much with the end, that is, enjoy your character and forget about the wipe.

The wipe will come eventually, it doesn't matter if you're thinking about it or not.

PS: I promisse your character won't feel a thing in the transition. The developers garanteed me that the wipe method is painless and quick.

 

Look, I don't care about my character being erased. But the world, I shape it to my exact liking. I don't want it to be reset. This is keeping me from starting with the game at all.

 

Thats good then because this isn't what the beta(or alpha) is for. If people want it to progress to a point where wipes will stop(meaning launch because anything before I would still say there is a chance) then help hunt down bugs, give useful balance feedback, find ways to actively break the game. Those things will help the Devs iron out as much as they can and get it to a point that they feel good about actually releasing it.
