RELEASED The Nebulites 3.2

Hey just a thing here, but I created the race and after I started everything I re-installed quick quests and nothing seems to be going wrong.
I have a feeling it may have been another mod which gave you noclip that caused my issue, but still, I normally wouldn't use quick quests, but the creative mode mod isn't being updated at the moment, and I tend to use that more than anything.

 

Hmm... it may be a problem with the way the code is handled. I took a look at quick quests code and nothing seemed wrong.

It could also be something wrong with my own mod. I'll do some testing tomorrow with it, if nothing works i'll just have to list quick quests as incompatible.

I like it! It seems really eerie with that level of darkness too. Is that a midnight planet? I havent gotten a chance to go to one yet since I havent done a full playthrough since glad giraffe came out.

I may also make a sort of grand temple ruin too. Not too sure about some underground ruins yet.

Edit: I may do something underwater too, my friend keeps mentioning needing a fish boss, lol.

 

Nice ;D. love to see some underwater stuff. and it's just a normal (earthlike) planet but with some spooky thick-tree biome at night.

 

Part of me's itching to do some colony work today, I'll see if I can make a stab at some Nebulite-based abodes while setting up all the rest of town.

 

I just noticed that little extra green dot on that hat in your gif, I know whats causing it so I'll fix that with the next update as well.

 

Welp, based on the recent additions to the upcoming Starbound story update, It looks like I'll be able to set up initial story prequests at some point! Yay!

Now I just hope they add the ability to strike up a conversation with NPCs as part of a quest. It would reeeeaaaaally help me make more interesting quests.

 

Whenever I get off my arse to work on the thing in my signature harder, I'm hoping some sort of cutscene scripting is allowed somewhere in there, like the ability to let NPCs play certain animations after a player reaches near them or something, or a swap of soundtrack.

There's not a whole lot yet, that'll take a while.

 

Feels like the ship is a little small compared to the other ships, guess that might just be me though.

 

No you're right, it is a bit smaller than some of the other ships, it's due for some touch-ups at some point though.

 

I've been playing for a week now and can't find an Insidia crystal to complete Chapter 1. Does it spawn on the starter planet or solar system?

I'll probably buff their drop rate a bit, they currently have a 10% chance of spawning in a supply chest. 2.3 wont be ready for a little while though since I'm gonna aim to finish off the armors in it, but if it comes down to it the command to spawn it is as xandertifft said: /spawnitem insidia

Not sure how much I'll buff it to though, they're supposed to be extremely rare, that way the items at the altar hold more value.

 

maybe only only on airless planets? 30%?
