The REAS project is supposed to be an Alliance Collective of a few mod races to make their introduction into the game a little more legit...

excuse me I have a small issue, I just tried to start as this race and the option to repair the ship is not showing up, I enabled my matter manipulator but the option to repair my ship is not there.
I can't really enjoy this race if I can't repair the ship.

 

Do you have any other mods installed? I don't seem to get this issue myself, so it may be the result of some bad code from another mod.

 

Do you think it could have been caused by quick quests?
Because it allows me to do quests with 0 efforts, and I noticed you have a quest right at the start, a custom one, and it wasn't fulfilled when I rebooted the AI. So maybe there's something there.

 

Yeah, the format for quests changed when Glad Giraffe came out. I've got the quests fixed in 2.2 so far, but I'm not quite ready to release 2.2 yet. I still have a storyline quest to finish setting up and it should be ready.

Whether or not that's the issue, I'm not sure, but my starter quest being incompletable is definitely a bug in my mod.

EDIT: As a side note, going into /admin mode will allow you to repair your ship without having to gather the materials.

 

The human Tier 6 armor matches great with the race's style.

also, could you add a list of the item ID's for all the items? would be extremely helpful.

 

ok, but there is one other thing I forgot to mention.
The option to activate the teleport didn't show up either.

 

Sure thing! I'll add the list once I update the mod to 2.2, since I'm adding more stuff at that point anyways.

Does it show up after removing quick quests? You may have to start a new character to see any changes.

Would be cool if you got a quest where your mission was to build a Nebulite colony. Like, maybe you go to the outpost radar and send out a special frequency that you later get response from (from a Nebulite) and then maybe create a colony deed with a specific Nebulite item and the Nebulite will appear. and you might have to get a colony of 5(Nebulites) and then you get a big reward.

 

There is actually going to be something like that, but it's further down the line in a later chapter.

Edit: At least, I hope to do something like that, it depends on what I can set for quest tags.

 

Thinking of adding a raid boss variant of the current boss (and future bosses), does it sound like a good idea? It would have better loot, of course.
