Warning please don't judge this post on the lack of photos i'm working on it. Preface:The Natives or Granvens are a neutral faction in the game probably the first you will encounter. Upon meeting you have to make a choice attack or befriend. Your choice is near permanent so think before you act. Futher more the more you influence them the more they change. Like if you attack them they will develop Technology to become immune. Or if you use certain weapons they will advance more in that field. At the end you eather become one of Their brothers or you enslave them all. As a Brother you can take one of them across the galaxy with you to forge more alliances every step of the way. But enslaving them has benifets to like their eternal labor to mine the planet they live on to the core. Background: Once a lonely race surviving on fruit and vermin like we once did. The natives are a race of sentient bipedal lizards like a T-rex. Who yearly make a trip to a mountain top to offer a sacrifice of their strongest male to the eternal goddess. Culture/Biology:Usually living in an open plain they have been known to create mud huts for females and the young. Though reptilian in looks they are warm blooded not cold blooded. They also have different styles depending on their homeland ex. an ice planet will have ice lizards like my avatar (courtesy of frootlewps) and have the ability to swim or natives in a mountainous planet our biome if you could call it that would be gray and be able to glide. I'm open to new ideas so feel free to post them also if you do pixal art please contact me i could use a pic or two (im no good at it myself) finally i wouldn't mind a better name for them since an interesting name would make them ten times cooler. I suppose I'm pretty good at making up names. (It makes up for my failure at art). How do you like: Yintarans, Ponseets, Korkandans*, Ovurandens, or the Granven? * Korkandans was the name of my entry, but I'm not going to win, so you can use that name.
