Hello to all! I think that maybe i little "out of topic", but i really want to know about one thing. Are any random events planned? I mean, something like Terraria "invasions"? Thanks to all! And special thanks to developers for their labor.
I vote for a mission where you have to drive a meat planet away from it's orbit and place it near the sun, thus making radioactive bbq to a bunch of hungry Florans...
... And just make it be the Starbound trailer, and have the background music be "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons
Agreed with Kawa. I run Microsoft Security Essentials, & have never had a problem with it. Dunno what to advise for those running a non-Windows OS though. Fully agreed, & I myself went this course of action to test this new update properly. (Screw going through the trouble of trying to convert old saves that were intended to be temporary anyway. That's not how it's done in regard to Beta Testing.) Seconded. For the bonus points, I hope ya did this while playing a Floran... or better yet, an Avian!
I guess I'll have to wait one more update until ecosystems are included... Either way, I'm still SUPER EXITED for all the NEW stuff.
hello, i have a Windows 7 PC, and i use steam for starbound. i did what it says it wants me to do to get on unstable, and after it's done downloading the update, i start up the launcher, and i start up starbound. i see the new logo, but then the game charshes on me. tomarrow i well put up what it says about the charsh. i use no mods, and i made it stable again in till you guys help me.
Wish they did not change the mod support now all mods are broken that alter items and tools. Just have to wait for modders to fix ,but wish they did not do that unless it was an efficiency code change and not some weird physics with "paper air planes" that required the player timing line needed.
They should call you Jon Snow cos you know nothin'. (About the mods thing, that is.) Edit: eh, whatever. Lemme just explain myself before somebody takes offense. The thing that broke the old mods is more than just efficiency, and paper planes and such have nothing to do with it.
Awesome update loving the changes like starting planet, learning crafting recipes, weapon balance. Major problem with is Skype and other VOIP programs cut out or lag while attempting multiplayer. This issue was present in stable to a smaller extent. Hopefully there are plans to fix this issue? Otherwise great work great update great fun
I am glad this came out when it did, it is a good time to do it. Just before the new year, and definitely this will help people see that Starbound is not abandoned, like many idiots think. I am glad to see many of the people here understand games take a long time to make, and those that don't have larger teams and are often built on old assets or unfinished. *cough* Ubisoft *cough*
You should probably try the support subforum. This isn't the thread for tech support. http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?forums/support/
Fun fact: you've said this sixteen times now, and counting. Okay, so that wasn't very fun at all when you consider why. I'll get my coat.
