The Monster-Dex!

Hello Starbounders! So with the randomly generated monster content, I'd thought it be cool to gather a huge collection of screenshots of the best/ugliest/coolest/strongest monsters you've found. The Dex entries should go like this:

Monster Name: Spined Cloak Crawler

(small description)
Passive upon encounter, will aggro upon hitting it. Often travels with others, can be found in groups of 1-3. Brown, yellow, and orange are the primary colors in the Spined Cloak Crawler.


There are a few rules though; No inappropriate names, let's all be mature. Don't take existing names, don't use NPC's, and Plants are allowed! First come first serves, if someone discovered a creature before you, they have all rights to name it. They can change the name whenever, to whatever. (This applies to people using seeds (x & y coords) )

Even though we can never define a true list of monsters due to the random generator, it still can be fun doing this. Just post the entries below, with the appropriate entry number.

 

Monster Name: Spican Land Spark
Entry #001


Description:

Passive upon encounter, will aggro upon attacking. Often travels in groups of 2 or 3. Faint brown, cobalt blue, are the primary colors on the Spican Land Spark. Named for it's large, cobalt tail.

Monster Name: Greater Pryotic Lizard

Description:
Extremely Aggressive. Approach with caution. Attacks via flame breath, and travels in packs of 4-6. A mega pack may form once in a while, consisting of 12-16 individuals.

Sounds good, I like the name, just change the entry number to 002!

 

Monster Name: Spican Glitch Bear

Description:
Very violent, known to travel in groups of up to 3, or higher. Demonstrates excessive amounts of speed and agility when attacking the player. It consist of dried orange, yellow, and a silver ore white color.

Monster Name: Purple Cloaked Crawler

Description:

Aggressive upon discovery, unlike it's possibly close relative, the Spined Cloak Crawler. Known for following the player, and has only been discovered in groups of 1-3. Known for it's purple and orange eyes, and it's cloaked like appearance.

 

Monster Name: The Royal Slush Roamer
Entry #006


Description:

Named for their royal yellow stripes, and where they were first discovered. It is known that they are not hostile until provoked. They are able to withstand freezing temperatures.

 

Monster Name: Utrosque Arun
Entry #007


Description:

Very violent, discovered in the delta sector, they are named for their sharp tusk, in which they use to butt against others. The strongest in this ritual of butting becomes the leader of a pack of 2-5. They are blue, and their tusk/scales are a old white color.

 

Monster Name: Dev'lish Grinlord
Entry #008

Description: Named for his giant grin and his dark red eyes, the Dev'lish Grinlord is stuff, just made for bad dreams. He often comes in a pack of 1-3 and you'll only find him at night. He seems to be darkgrey, with a red tail and a spike on his neck. Even though you shouldn't even want to come near him, he is very aggressive. Stories say that he just wants to eat your soul and that he plays with your dead body for weeks.
