The Mlobster is a strange creature. Physically it resembles a water dwelling crustacean, but the Mlobster tends to hang out on beaches and shores, bothering locals with their large gun hands. They are very territorial, and won't stray too far to chase down intruders, but will fire at anything without thought if there's even a slight chance there's a threat. Rumours say that their hats aren't actually part of them and they wear them simply to look cool, but others say that that is impossible as crustaceans do not typically have the brain capacity to judge fashion. I tried to go for something different with this. Starbound looks like it is oozing with fun so I designed a creature that would hopefully reflect that! After all, having fun and being entertained is what we all play games for. Here is also an animated sprite that portrays how the Mlobster might look and act in game. Thank you for reading, I wish everyone else the best of luck! ~SF
*Insert same comment as I gave on the big thread* Awesome, definetlay watched! Good luck on the competition, another submition that could easily win...
Wow, thanks a lot! I tried to really match the spirit of what we've seen of the game as close as possible.
This put a smile on my face, I hope that this is at least a cause of inspiration for the game developers
This is quite cool and it would be even more awesome if this made it in game and there was an entire set of crustacean themed robot mob guys that the devs decided to add in.
Thanks! Although the Mlobster isn't really meant to be a robot - It's just naturally evolved perfect Tommy Guns for arms... Perhaps it has had them robotically implanted. It's up to your own imagination really!
I love the concept. Great art and animation to back it up, too. I could totally see it working in-game.
A monster that duel wields tommy guns? I'm sold. Also have you considered making some variants of it for fun?
Oh, definitely. Perhaps there's big fat Mlobster bosses who are constantly smoking big cigars. I was very tempted to put this in the first post, but I thought it might be asking too much of the devs. Still, it's a great idea! I'm sure there's demand for a 1930's Trilby in the game!
