The Main Antagonist

Honestly I'm not sure what to think on "antagonist" for this game. Thats part of the reason that it interests me.

 

true but it is very hard to do a really awesome one because of every ones views. so if it is a cheesy twist ending then it tends to give a majority of people a chuckle
so that is my reasoning behind it
but to each his own i suppose

The tentacle planet will be the main antagonist for female characters.

 

I believe it should be a seahorse overlord. He was captured and taken away from his family at birth, but escaped after connecting with people over the Internet. Once Free he discovered there was an evil corporate heirachy who had plans to take over the universe. This seahorse publically revealed this information and was later captured by this corporate empire. They constantly ran tests on him affecting his brain and lose all faith in all humanity, leading to his insanity to destroy every sentient being in the universe.

 

I don't want a damned antagonist, I just want to explore the galaxy with my bros!

The main antagonist?
The sun.
You will find out there is some creature pretending to be a sun and it destroyed your home planet right as you got away.
Now you have to find the fake star and get inside it to the control room where the control room is and where you can shut it off.
But where did the machine come from?
At your space station should be a sealed off area that has been there since the beginning.
In the control room of the fake star you will find a keycard which opens that door.
And you will find out...
...It was your own father that created the machine to destroy the planet.
Now have an epic glowstick battle to finally defeat him and save the universe!

 

Step 1: potato. Step 2: ??????? Step 3: Profit. The whole story right there people.

 

The main antagonist? Don't you guys know, it's going to be the clown from Terraria! After being unappreciated for so long he finally decides to blow up the player's homeworld then go on a campaign to crush the protagonist once and for all.

 

YES. that is the antagonist. he blows up your planet anyway

I hope that there's a damn good reason for destroying the planet. Not something lame like "I was testing my new laser" or "We didn't like you." I'm talking "Your planet was on a crash course with mine and the only solution was to destroy it before it pulled our planet from our stars hospitable zone. We sent a message but the missile arrived first" but I don't know how that would tie in a boss battle. And I don't think I'd love anything more than for all of my work to culminate into an amazing inter-galactic boss battle.

 

Like the title says, who do you think the main villain is? I personally think that it ends up being you from the future. Your thoughts?
