I think it's funny how the villagers are totally unphased by slimes running amok in town and filling their houses, but as soon as one is in YOUR house, it's a problem. lol You know CA had to have hidden that in there knowing very few would try to hatch slimes in their own house. >u<

 

My god, this thread is a treasure trove of slimey hidden goodies.

I'm the only one that enjoy's killing the slimes?

 

I hatched a blue slime and managed to grab some screenshots this time. He took it out with two hits.

 

I was even wondering why incubators had to be made with two iridium bars and 100 slime pieces, which seemed like a high price for something that came provided with the slime hutch... Little did I know... That was ConcernedApe's attempt to slow the slime apocalypse.

 

I was up by the tracks with my newly started slime family, and a train came through. The slimes on the track just moved off of it before the train ran over them.

 

Attempting to fish with slimes is kind of ridiculous. lol (Elliot watches from across the river, most likely shaking his head.)

 

Proof that the slimes are indeed smarter than many of our own farmers.

 

Need to get a screen-shot of it, but I have a green slime that hangs around outside of Pierre's and seems to have a major crush on Caroline. He's always going "Hi Caroline!" when he sees her. Rude woman never says hi back to him, though. I feel bad for him.

 

Awww, poor little rejected Slime. No one will ever understand your love. lol

Oh wow. All this time playing the game and I had NO idea that the spouses actually reacted to monsters in the house! Nice one, CA!

 

Before I let loose the slimes of friendliness and/or murder(if you forget to wear the ring), I was wondering if anyone playing on console has tried this? Given I get noticeable framerate stuttering with too many crops on screen at once, I'm worried that too much slime would have the same effect, meaning I'd be forced to initiate an apocalypse of another sort to get the game running smoothly again.

 

After lurking through this awesome thread for a while, I decided it was time to contribute.

I'm making it a personal mission of mine to chronicle spouses' responses to seeing slimes in the house. Assisting me on this quest will be none other than Alex.

Aside from the four shown below, I've recorded "Agh!" and "Ahh!" which I guess are pretty standard.
