This is true lol if only you could bend in the game...

 

you can crouch if that's any consolation

check the most resent stream i believe, tiy crouches multiple times in it: although having to crouch every time a block or 2 is above you to make way for your hat could be annoying
but the hat's sheer awesomeness more than makes up for it

you can indeed crouch, i think the list of announced game info topic has like one line about crouching in it: can't be sure i haven't checked it all in a while

EDIT: i had an idea! what if while crouching with this tree hat on, your player becomes part of the hat itself so you can camouflage yourself near some trees and enemies will be none the wiser

 

I would totally stick with that idea, that's awesome, you would look like a tree sticking up from the ground. Awesome camoflauge idea.
