Well.. if there's one thing I want, it's a "loot all" button when looting dungeons and othe chests :D
It gets a bit tedious afte the umpteenth chest :seriously:

This demand for storing pixels. How else will you pay your galactic death insurance provider?

The platform mechanics are still confusing me a bit, and I can't find enough fuel to be able to actually start a good exploration trip (Going to another planet in the solar system and visit two of its moons almost left me stuck on said planets)

You can't eat food right out of your inventory. You have to equip it first and that means juggling your slots about.

Going into the quit menu doesn't pause the game

Not being able to store my pixels.
The fact that crafting on a table is better, but it doesn't include all the crafting options for my bare hands.
Not being able to delete my character.
No button like terraria where you hold it and it chooses the right tool for the job.

Here is a list of little things that urk me:

    • Versioning is done with phrases and NOT or with NO ALTERNATIVE TO numbers (very hard for a video game designer like me to understand what has been changed/being changed this version and how far along/away I am in my current client version)
    • Unrefined wood is more useful than coal to refuel your spaceship
    • There is very little planet variation (however i am assuming this is because the other planets are disabled for testing purposes right now)
    • You can travel infinite distances with just 300* fuel (pretty sure this is a bug)
    • Tier 1 takes way too long to do because the boss is near impossible without non-copper armor and a gun, which are very hard to find!
    • Not being able to bank your pixels.
    • Not being able to delete your characters.

What irks me? The fact that your characters upper torso doesn't move at all while walking.

I also echo the use of "irk" rather than "urk" Things that make me "urk" tend to be roleplaying an overly intoxicated Orc or stubbing my toe on my bedframe. The little thing that bothers me is the scrollbar. Not being able to drag it up and down and instead needing to use scrollwheel or arrows..while not gamebreaking just makes me go "uuurrrkkk." Perhaps I am weird and this little problem doesn't affect anyone else but dragging a scroll bar seems intuitive and natural to me. Alwell.

i'v just a few things I would like to see.
the first being able to change my hotkeys/controls.
second a faster progression towards a pickax/ single brick destruction object for early detailing and designing to my house.

By holding shift and using the pickaxe (or matter manipulator) you can change default area effected from 2x2 to a single block. This also works for placing blocks as well.

Actually, you can just click it on your character to eat it. Although a right-click to use it from inventory would be nice.

  16. Monskiller

Just open your inventory, click on the food to pick it up from there, drag it out the inventory screen, click again and you eat it.
It's the same mechanic as on Terraria to use an item/potion while it's not on your hotbar.

One thing that "Irk"-ed me, was that you can't separate well stacks. If you right click on a stack it'll always split it in half. But you can't precisely separate them, like right clicking with a stack will drop one piece and so on.

    • Not being able to pick up single items in a stack. I only need 5 Iron bars to craft something, but the game insists that I pick out half of my stack of 30 or 40, and whittle my way down to 5 by cutting the stack in half over and over again. Or I have to go to the chest, get the ores, go to the crafting menu, craft the item, and then go BACK to the chest to store the excess ores. A simple Ctrl+Click to pick up one at a time would solve that.
    • The lack of info in regards to stats - The health bar is wildly inaccurate. Adding an option to have "current HP/max HP" printed on top of your HP bar in precise numbers would be amazing. I like knowing exactly how much health I have left, so I can judge how many more hits I can safely take. As it currently stands, the best I can do is "Ehh, I'm at about 3/4 health...
    • The inability to remap keys.
    • The fact that the cursor automatically jumps to the search box when opening menus. I use hotkeys a lot - If I hit C to open the crafting menu, I want to be able to hit C again to close it... Instead, it starts searching the menu. "Oh, you accidentally bumped the C button during a fight? Let's search for 'dddddaaddddd222aaaaaawaaccccc' while your character is sitting there getting killed, since you obviously need to search for something RIGHT NOW.
    • The fact that the hunger and heat bars aren't in your inventory menu next to your HP/Energy bars. As it currently stands, it only shows up when you're hungry/cold - You should be able to check it whenever you want.
    • The fact that hunger decreases even while on your ship. If I teleport back to my ship and leave to go grab a snack/use the bathroom/chat with someone/whatever, I want to know that my character is safe... Instead, he starts starving to death while I'm AFK. It's annoying that you have to completely save and quit, just to ensure that your character isn't going to die. This is compounded by the fact that the hunger bar isn't readily accessible, so it's easy to forget how hungry your character actually is - If they're already hungry to begin with, they'll be absolutely starving by the time you get back.
    • A lack of decent healing items. As it currently stands, the only healing items I've ever encountered have been bandages, and they're a pain to make. I've heard other people mention stem-packs, but apparently I'm super unlucky because I've dug around on plenty of worlds in both the Alpha and Beta sectors, without finding a single one.
    • A lack of decent cave systems. The pickaxe's limited durability is supposed to discourage random digging... But as it currently stands, the best way to find ores is to dig a hole straight down until you run into a patch of ores - None of the surface caves are deep enough to find more than a dozen or so copper ores, and maybe a few iron if you get lucky. This is one thing that Terraria did very well: You could find a cave on the surface, and it would eventually lead you all the way down into hell if you followed it long enough and occasionally dug short tunnels to jump from one cave to the next or to avoid obstacles like water/lava.

When crafting recipes, if you run out of materials for what you are building, it flips to the next recipe in the list. If you are button mashing because you are too lazy to enter a number, this means it's easy to accidentally craft the wrong thing. It's how I ended up with three hunting bows. If you are crafting and run out of ingredients, it should switch to a blank (no recipe selected) state, not the next recipe.

Well I have two things that bother me (that haven't been said already).
In multiplayer a way in which you can trade pixels. (It would just make things easier crafting wise).
And also a way in which we can go see our health bar.

What really annoys the hell out of me is enemies with guns not dropping guns. Why the hell is a dude with a sniper rifle carrying around a 2h sword anyway, he has a freaking sniper rifle.
