Unfortunately, I do not know absolutely anything, but in Steam I have added someone who knows how to design clothes / armor in Starbound, maybe I know something about animations and I can help you with something

Well, with some help, progress - especially regarding leeven objects - has increased, as I don't have to do everything myself. I'm working on the dungeons at the moment. I'm still in need for a good spriter for the characters/the race itself. As I mentioned before, I would even accept to mod the Leeven as an NPC race in first, so I could at least publish the dungeons, items, furniture, farmables, codices etc.

 

Just out of boredom, I thought I'd help the progress of this mod a little though I really can't sprite so have a name generator. This version is really basic, but additional prides and names can be added on since this only uses alts. Alter how you want since there can't just be eight names or so for a whole species like this. Just unzip, alter the .species file if you want to add it in and have fun!

How about their codex? Have you done anything about it? You know, just an advice, I think it would be great if they have somekind of codex that tell something about them.

 

In fact, the whole codex complex - 25 different books - is already done.

At the moment, this is the compilation:

11 books containing the "Fima-Fami", the Book of Pride&Prey with the Leeven Rules of Power. Each book contains ten rules. There's also an introduction.

10 books are written by other races informing the player about their own view regarding the Leeven, but also include outsider informations. The Apex point of view has four parts.

4 books are Leeven books which refer to Leeven history and culture.

 

A Leeven without his books about foreign traderoutes, ressources, tradegoods, commerce and cartography wouldn't be a merchant. Here is a small bookcase and a standard one.

 

I will keep that in mind.

Oh, it's just a sample for modding, I will change some things, really, but I may also use some common furniture which I think might fit.
