    Oh boy, I really should make a character if I'm gonna be a part of this. Can't decide between Avali or Orcana, both are such good looking races (Avali architecture is so hard to get just right though). :D

    I'll start the adventure twice, I think xD I can't choose between the Novakid (the name B-612) or a mod Race ahah !

    @Plasmataz and @Arinyl use two characters. I'm doing that because I want a Novakid and a female human (for the Metroid armor mod). :nurutease:

    If only there was a way to save and swap your character appearance (without having to do inventory transfer), I would be more than willing to have two unique characters building a kingdom! It would be interesting to see alternating journals and perspectives from an RP standpoint as an Avali and an Orcan try to work out the best way to raise a colony.

    Well, the universe stays the same, regardless of how many characters are on it... so you could just store everything in houses on the planets, and do it all that way.
  7. Pedro Falcão

    Forgot to add here, but yesterday I started my new colony here. What do you think of it as a kingdom candidate? Good enough?
  8. The Squid

    The Squid Oxygen Tank

    Gonna start mine soon. Are we allowed to start on planets other than lush/forest planets?

    @SivCorp can you confirm that this is how we calculate the status? And that this way is just optional?

    Edit: See correct way in the first post

    Food = (number of) crops/3 + meals*/2 + recipes + water (in storage)/2 - citizens
    *Meals require a Grocery/Restaurant/etc to be counted

    Health = food groups + water sources + medicine*citizens
    Medicine= -0.5 if none, 1 if basic, more with better tech

    Housing = tents/improvised beds*0.5 + basic beds*1 - citizens
    Better beds could give better multipliers, like 1.5 for comfortable and 2 for luxurious, for example.

    = clothing*citizens + recreation*citizens/10 + sanitation*citizens + aesthetics
    Each form of recreation counts as 1. But if none is available it counts as -1 instead of 0
    Same for aesthetics, but without multiplying by citizens
    Sanitation = -1 if non existent, -0.5 if improvised, 0 if basic...
    There could be other factors too: being stranded in an unknown planet, living with a despised race...

    Employment = jobs - citizens

    Total = Food+Health+Housing+Morale+Employment

    Just a suggestion based on what I saw in the other Kingdoms:

    Very happy: 16+
    Happy: 5 - 15
    Content: 1 - 5
    Neutral: 0
    Unhappy: -5 - -1
    Very unhappy: -6 or less

    And we could include employment like @Arinyl did.

    Wow. I really like this way of reckoning our stats ! I think I'm gonna use this.

    Of course it's good enough! A good start :)

    Yup. Any planets not needing an EEP backpack are open to starter planets.

    Yes that is fine. The stats portion of the play is not entirely rigid. This seems simpler and easier to follow.

    I would add the following...
    Buildings that add stats, like +10 medicin for a medical building, +10 food for a grocery, restaurant. Ect.

    All right, thread created:

    [The Kingdoms] Lost in the Pegasi Frontier (RP Builds)

    You can call it The Pegasi Alliance

    Characters: Vincent Horizon and Asumi
    Kingdom: The Pegasi Alliance
    System: The Pegasi Frontier
    Coordinates: x=999,999,379 y=999,999,817

    Note: this is a Forest planet

    Say hi to Azreon on the left, his fellow pack-member Neza, and S.A.M the Drone! Looks like their ship's FTL drive might be a bit dinged up...
    Will probably start later this week.
    (And probably play around a bit with Neza's design)

    How can you have two characters in the same game ?:geek:

    2 computers... ;)

    EDIT: On second look... the food section shouldn't have meals as an option.

    Meals can only be counted once they have a distribution platform (grocery, restaurant, ect)

    I'm actually using the create-a-friend mod, which allowed me to spawn in Neza. By play around with her design I mean I'm going to flip through the mod screen until I find a random design I like.

    I'm doing the same as @Plasmataz

    My Asumi character was created just like one of the possibilities in the Create a Friend mod, so I can recruit a copy of her in Vincent's crew and have both of them together. Also, I can leave another copy on a colony if I want. Here you can see them training before the disaster happened:

    Links for the mods: <---- Don't forget this one.

    They should be available on the mod section of this website too.

    After looking over the stats, I finalized them and posted the spoiler in an easy to copy code spot at the bottom of the MAIN post.

    Here is what it will be...

    Population = 2

    = ( Crops 8 /3 )+( Recipies 2 /2 )+( Drinks 6 / 3 )-( Pop 2 )
    >> 3.6 = 2.6 + 1 + 2 - 2
    Health = ( Food groups 2 )+( Liquid sources 1 )+( Med -0.5 x Pop 2 )
    >> 2 = 2 + 1 + -1 = 2
    = ( Rooms 1 / Pop 2)x( Beds 1.5 - Pop 2)
    >> -0.25 = 0.5 * -0.5
    Bed lvl = 1 tent (.5), 1 bed (1)
    Morale = (Clothing 2 - Pop 2 )+( Recreation 0 - Pop 2 /10 )+( Sanitation -1 * Pop 2)
    >> -2.2 = 0 + -0.2 + -2
    Economics = ( Jobs 2 - Pop 2 )+( Landmarks 0 - Pop 2 /10) + Other 0
    >> -0.2 = 0 + -0.2 + 0

    Kingdom rating 2.95 = 3.6+2+-0.25+-2.2+-0.2

    Tech Level =
    wood/stone, copper/iron, coal
    Fleet Level = 1 transport

    And the rundown of the #'s....

    Population = # current population

    Food = # crops / 3 (+) # recipes/2 (+) # drink (in storage) / 3 (-) # population

    Health = # food groups (Grains,fruit,veg,ect) (+) # liquid sources (Rainwater, coconuts, wells, ect) (+) medicine lvl x population
    Medicine lvl = -0.5 if none, 1 if basic, more with better tech

    Housing = (# Rooms / population ) x (total # of beds - population)
    Bed lvls = .5 tents, 1 standard beds, 1.5 luxury beds

    = # of clothing - population (+) # of recreation - population/10 (+) sanitation lvl * population
    Sanitation lvl = -1 if non existent, -0.5 if improvised, 0 if basic (outhouse), 1 if indoor plumbing

    Economics = # of jobs - population + aesthetics lvl + other
    Aesthetics lvl = # of landmarks - population/10

    Total = Food+Health+Housing+Morale+Economics

    Tech Level = Building materials, Forging materials, Fuel materials, Others
    Fleet Level = # of ships and types

    Does that cover it all? We can add to it later, with the higher tech stuff and all... but this should get everyone started on the same general stats.
