RELEASED the Kazdra version 0.3.2

You could ask a friend who has steam to download the mod and send you the .pak file (it will be named the same number that the mod itself has in its workshop URL) that steam downloads and then place THAT into your starbound\mods\ directory and it will work.

For example, Kazdra reloaded is:

The file will be called "949156982.pak" in

C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\211820\

 

I asked him to upload a packed file version so that you can get it, just give it some time till he responds.

I would try the reloaded mod myself, but I JUST started a new playthrough with an Avali and it's been a good year or so since I played an Avali.

Maybe Kazdra or similar would be next lol.

Yeah, I did too, but the mod going out of date and ending up broken on a regular basis made it so I never got very far in the game as a Kazdra. I really like the race idea and such, but it is similar to that other humanlike dragon mod, in that I could never get anywhere due to the mod author not being able to keep it up to date.

Not blaming the author(s) in question, it's just.... it's really hard to use a race mod that isn't updated frequently enough to at least keep up with Chucklefish's updates.

The mod just updated with a mech fix and now has a download for non-steam users. I asked him to provide it in the description.

 

Really wish mod authors would clean their crap up.

If mod authors did things correctly, they should do something like xx_itemnamehere where "XX" is a unique identifier, such as "kz_" or "vi_" or "fu_"

That way.... no more conflicts, like, ever.

honestly if there's any mod on steam that's not on here, just use that site for it. Its a lot faster then trying to contact the author of a mod (who usually, in my experience at least, will either just flat out ignore any attempts at contact, or throw a fit over someone not using steam)

Small adwice, try to use .zip format instead of .rar there is a bug when 7zip cann't unzip .rar files

Is there a way to hide the character wings ? I would like to turn them off or on sometimes , and some armors shouldn't change the skin color of the character
