The instrument thread

Have you found a favorite instrument yet? A friend gave me a harmonica and we tested out the band feature.

I don't know if there are violins yet but I would definitely like to find one of those. Anyone know if there are any? Also is the microphone supposed to sound TERRIFYING?

 

I found a mini piano (I don't know what they're called) that plays Canon in D. Which is awesome because Canon is my favorite piece of Classical music.

Found a harmonica. Played that for a bit till I found a banjo.

Now I'm curious to know if they'll be adding a feature to let us create our own music.

 

I've found an Ocarina, Guitar, Overdrive Guitar, and Microphone. Right now the only song you can play is canon in d. I imagine that in the future you'll be able to find more, if not write them yourself.

you can add any abc file that you can find on the internet just putt it in this file

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\assets\songs

 

Keytar reporting in.

 

Acoustic Guitar, Ocarina, Banjo, and Harmonica.

I am obsessed with importing songs, I have quite the repertoire now!

 

I've found the keytar and bone xylophone so far!

 

Bass Guitar and Violin. Nice things to have, still searching for Keytar or keyboards of any kind...

 

I'd like to see a way to freestyle songs, without having to drop anything in the folder. It would be much more entertaining, if you ask me
