The implications of Bartwes economical problems on the progress of develpment

Let's just hope he's telling the truth that he's not in as much trouble as we think, and not just covering up things to save face. I wish all the devs good health and financial stability to reward their hard work so far.

The irony of this post is so amusing. (also it is my own character)

 

Considering we know next to nothing about this personal situation, its hard to say anything about it.

The one thing going in on preorders, was the pitch that it would possibly free up the devs from having to get second jobs if it did well. If one still can't but the money is being levied evenly rather then to accomplish this goal which, a vast majority of us voted with are wallets for.. Isn't there any chance of readjusting funds from this point on to meet this goal?

If he only has a slight debt left, I (personally I speak for no one else) would rather see the earning dived in such a way, from this point on!, that the team keeps their goal of not having to get second jobs. Otherwise after this preorder doing REMARKABLY better then expected and one still not able to avoid it then.. it seems like a huge let down. -Unintentional-, but I for one was hoping to have all the devs working to get this out after such a great swell of support.

I know this wasn't a promised thing exactly, but (to me) it feels like after blowing hats off with the wave of support and then the devs seeming all awed at the amount received, a little disheartening to know what I pitched in somehow wasn't enough to meet one of the hoped for big BIG things. Getting the devs all working 100% was a big deal to me and why I got a friend to get a copy too.

I would rather have that, you guys free to work on things without worry, met then any stretch goal. Show us where the goalpost is for it, and you might be surprised how many of us would try and see it met.
