That's the Novakid's themselves. They give off a slight glow in the dark.

also, I'm slightly joking. So don't take this incredibly serious. I still think memes are awful replacements for jokes, but I'm not going to hate Starbound because it has one.

I second the motion of caster guns. The fact that casters were lost technology reflects the frame of mind the novakids have. That is, of course, reading too far into the reference.

Still casters would fit them quite well, as well as plasma revolvers.
