Bug/Issue The gift bug

Hi! ı've been playing stardew valley for 2 weeks and ı found a bug which is a pretty minor one.
if ı try to give a gift to any npc, a dialog pops up which says "you have given .... a gift today" (but thats my very first gift today). And when ı try to talk to npc after this dialouge happens,npc reacts to my gift.this happens once or twice a week and seems not to be an important bug but ı still think it needs to be fixed.

 

what system are you playing on and what mods do you have? i've been playing on stardew for pc since july and have never had this happen X D

 

ım playing on pc.since im not using any mods, it must be a bug or something
