Considering I'm just starting the game I'm wondering about the RNG. Considering I played both Minecraft and Terraria I know full well how the RNG could kill me flat just because...

How bad is the RNG in this game and how do I know I'm already screwed by it?

In any regards? Like monsters, item placement or Biome danger levels? Heck how deep do I need to go before I get items like I need (Like ore)....

Well, in my experience, I've never had any problems with it. Worst comes to worst, you can just go to another planet if one doesn't have what you need.

How about in the beginning of the game? Will it be fine? ('Cause I'm expecting to be mobbed by low level mobs after starting.... too much playing Terraria and it's abnormally agressive mobs)...

The start of the game is much better now than it was when it was first released. Back then, any fight was going to wind up your last, and it was a hard slog to progress while learning the ropes. Now, it's much more forgiving, and I don't think you'll hit any major issues with the starting mobs. But you won't ever know for yourself unless you start playing.

Ah okay. Honestly I heard those starting game horror stories from some friends of mine so I'm kinda weary... Also I have started the game (I'm actually running it right now) and everything seems fine for now (except the Mawile looking mob that ambushed and killed me :rip:)

When it was just starting, you could barely build anything on the surface because of the birdemic. After they fixed it, on beginner planets and even on more advanced ones, you can work calmly for 5 minutes without a random mob attacking you. sometimes you get bad luck and do get attacked, but nothing you cant solve quickly if you have the correct tier equipment.
About minerals, it's not hard to find them, but mining can start a little slow.

The mobs, compared to Terraria are not that aggressive. They dont come looking for you. Either you or them stumble on each other and the fact that some are not hostile unless you attack first makes it easier. Of course, if you have a lower tier equipment, it's not gonna be a walk in the park.

Ahh, The good old days when a swarm of bird like creatures regularly decended from the heavens to kill you with beak and claw. :D

Anyway, if anything the start of the game might be too forgiving now (there's little to no challenge atm, at least for me). Just get armor asap, since armor have damage modifiers on it now days (So going without armor gimps your offence as well as your defence).

    ???

Wut? Really? Glad I didn't experience it. In any case I spent my first time playing making my home base and fending off mawile wannabes... yeah it's kinda easy... but notice hat the planet I started in has too many death drops underground.... (died thrice)

Yea avoiding death drops is something you will have to learn. They are quite regular. Having a usefull tech and a quick reaction speed helps. Ropes and stuff are also very usefull for underground exploration.

Ugh... tell me about it. I just finished the starting world a while ago and boy was it a chore. The enemies aren't bad, but the terrain is the one killing me. Also I noticed that I couldn't get much copper than I did with iron....
