The game is finished?

The game's hardly been in development for more than a year. Making the game is not a delay.

 

I do think they're just trolling around. Not an ideal way of releasing info, but I can overlook that, because from what they've shown, this game looks awesome!

 

They're releasing content information that doesn't ruin the exploration part of the game as they release it. What do you want? A full list of all armors and what they do? All weapon mods?

Honestly, they need to keep some of it unknown so there's stuff for you to figure out when you play.

 

I get that. But the way they tease information like: "We just finished something awesome" is annoying. Only because I'm bursting with excitement for the game, haha.

 

Originally, they wanted to release game in summer 2012, then in winter 2012. Next - beginning of 2013. Now they saying even half 2013.
I know that wasn't "release date".
I know - and I'm really happy about it - they want to polish that game.
But with time people will get bored with waiting. Or some even might compare it to Duke Nukem Forever

 

Yeah, like people said, it's just gotten into development for a little more than a year and they want the game to be perfect.
Tiy is working really hard and said that this is in fact the game of his dreams. He wants as much content as possible in the game once it releases.
Seeing these threads will only make them worried and rush to release it instead of making sure that there is a very small amount of bugs and that
the game is playable to its fullest extent.

 

I like completing stuff early, too. Doesn't mean I reach the goal of doing so.

And this wait time is hardly anything to get annoyed about when the game is in development. I've waited longer for completed games to be released.

 

Agree with you. That's good news - but they need to stop adding new content someday, you know? They want to support this game for year after release - they will have time. But if they won't stop adding new (probably awesome) ideas to game, this won't be released until 2023

But you probably don't say "heeey all! I will do THING in next week". After week "nevermind, I will compleate it in next week!" And theeeen "just got a bit delayed! In next week it will be done!"
You know, some people then might think you are doing something really awesome...or there is something wrong

I just want them to tell us (for example) "we will release it in March/February" or "we really don't know when we realease it guys. But we are doing outr best. So don't rise your hopes for now". That would be cool - not "Q1 or Q2"

Also, they're aiming for those dates. They're goals, not deadlines.

They've said in the past that they don't won't show off a feature until it's absolutely perfect.

Edit: They've also said that they don't want to spoil most of the features.

 

I believe you are right!

But there is some people who is getting upset/inpatient because lack of information and constant teasing.

 

All the more reason to push it back. So that once the game is actually released, more people are much more excited. The more it's pushed back, the more relief and excitement it builds up.

Sorry, personally I don't like this strategy. I'm still excited, I believe in this game. But more they push it back - more people will be upset. They will talk not good things about this game - black-PR is really not good man.
I'm sure devs do their best. I'm sure game will be worth waiting.
