Bandages are lower tier items, so making them work like a higher tier item would ruin part of the game when you're in lower levels..example: Image you're on a level 1 planet, and you made loads of bandages because you found tons of plant fibre. ok, great! So now account for bandages functioning as a higher tier healing item..not so great. Reason behind that is because you'd practically become nearly invincible if bandages functioned as a higher tier item. Instead they should have different tiers of bandages instead of having 1 OP bandage, you can have multiple tiers of them, which in that case, each bandage level/tier works at a different level of effectiveness.
I am speechless of how much work youre doing now and so on just like as you dreamed of doing..... Making a great game.
No no, they're called Nanowrap Bandages. Else you might as well include stimpacks. Or certain foods that do all sorts to your body which includes regeneration and speed buffs, I haven't had a food that properly burnt me yet.
not to bother you or anything but... ITS BEEN 6 DAYS WHENS THE NEXT UPDATE!!!! sorry about my rudeness but it's true
Thank you for the cookie! Ms_Starbound. I will preserve it in a forbidden building that will be legendary when i get the necessary updates to the game. lol
They're probably gonna put that in, just like the Oculemons (sounds like a Digimon) that are supposedly toxic to non-Florans. [edit] supposedly
No I really mean what I said you may need to get a bit further to see what I mean but you learn to make them from the first level ones. Nanowrap bandage is what they seem to be called. Cost pixels to craft and you need the normal ones as well. Gotta read other post before I fully reply...
Well, as for the Hamachi and portforwarding, it seems to work fine for the host. However, nobody else can join, which renders it completely useless. I play a lot of singleplayer and I can see how it would be fun to multiplayer, but it just doesn't work out. You'd be surprised how hard it is looking for tutorials that use windows 8.
I use windows 8 and my brother uses Vista. To play multiplayer, one of us uses the Starbound Launcher, then launches both Starbound and the Server. The other connects to our computers IP address. Press start, in 'Run' type 'CMD' (without the quotes, of course). Then type 'IPConfig' (in Windouws 8, just start typing CMD in the "Start Menu"). The command prompt should give you a bunch of information, locate 'IPv4 Address'. This is your IP address, and this is what all other players must connect to. Edit: I just realized this is instructions for LAN play (I'm half asleep...), if you're trying to go online see; http://starbound.indiegameswiki.com/wiki/Server_Setup_Guide
This probably sounds ridiculous, but there needs to be a way to tell what color a character's undies are during customization.
not as of now i don't think. what i do is just click a few directions since it seems to always default on pink. imp anything's better then pink.
