Actually I believe the idea is eventually your homeplanet will have perks and uses beyond just as the one planet your ship will remember like it is currently. One of those perks is being able to teleport there without burning tons of fuel flying back and forth, though I would be all for paying perhaps a reduced amount of fuel for teleporting to the home planet and back as opposed to the 200 fuel it often takes, 400 for round trip if your home planet is far from where you currently are.

All we can do for now is keep playing, finding bugs, and hoping on waking up one morning that Steam will have the magical update downloading symbol of happiness. Or that a new blog will be posted, that too~
Yeah, I'm in no rush. I'm just glad I finally got the game to work. I was only curious because I thought it might already be in the game but I wasn't pressing the right button, or I needed some upgrade or something first ^.^
Yeah, I am looking forward to it but the game is amazing already, I am not rushing the Devs or anything I just like looking forward to the new patches, like a Chriistmas you don't know when is arriving the suspense and such is nice to look forward to~ Though speaking of holidays I imagine the Devs will be busy with family in the coming days and I do hope they take time to enjoy the season and not feel pressured into staying at work. I mean assuming they celebrate Christmas of course, if not then I hope they enjoy whatever holiday they might celebrate.
I didn't make the "Mock-up", they did. And I was basically asking "Why didn't they add it sooner?". You know, to test it. Besides, Outer Space is NOT flat. So, OF COURSE we need the Z Coordinates. They were planned, and I am confident that they're STILL planned.

I would like to be able to bookmark planets I have been to. It would make traveling to and from planets a much more manageable task.
I imagine the home planet upgrades and the ship memory upgrades are intertwined enough both might come out together.
We're also hoping that the Home Planet is loaded constantly so that you can grow things there. Currently any planet that doesn't have an inhabitants on it shuts down after roughly 10 seconds or so. You can grow things on your ship but it's currently tiny so it's not an optimal choice.
After checking out the mods for building your own ship, I think Tiy should take a second look at the mechanics for making custom ships. I saw the pic where he was building one himself but said he didn't like how it looked because the tiles/blocks didn't match and I immediately thought "You make new tiles/blocks for the game all the time, just give us access to tiles that match!!!" . Custom ships are the way to go and the one thing customization-wise the standard game is missing. Come on Tiy, let us Make our own ships man!!!!
