    Hmm it sounds better, I was hoping for some advanced things that would some flow and player strategy rather than simple math. I was just wondering if any were coming in the future. I don't mean anywhere near now, but in the very distant future...if the answer to that question is a "yes" then I'm going to go buy the game right now.

    o_O but its a side scroler... it would be cool if that was implemented but i don't think i have seen anything like that in one before (i play a metric fuck ton of games)

    This game has a lot of potential though, and I'm not asking for super in depth. I mean like add a parry (that negates all dmg) add a heavy attack. Done. That on it's own would allow a lot of depth and strategic thinking. (I have a lot of games also and I know how these games are, that's why I'm holding out on this one ;p)

    Yeah me too, but those were just simple off the top of my head thoughts. I would really love to see combat fleshed out into a full and dynamic system instead of just slash jump and slash some more, or block slash and block some more, it feels so repetitive after a while. And with the hope for updating enemy behaviors that is a step in the right direction. :)

    I would suggest buying the beta though and then you can offer suggestions and help develop the game as it grows. :)

    I would love to take you up on that suggestion, but as there are no promises made to me I would not like to throw my money away into a game like Terraria (with better crafting and space).

    Perhaps keep an eye on the game as it grows and it if becomes something you like then you could make a decision later? :)

    Personally I hope it does become something like what you mentioned.

    No mention of variable gravity between planets? Come on, that's just about the most basic expectation of different planets there is.

    I also agree with the people saying that racial bonuses should be innate to the race, rather than just being provided by the armour. Someone mentioned that it would be better for the armours to then provide boosts to those bonuses or other racial abilities, and I think that sounds like a much better idea.

    Finally, a planet scanner! I've been waiting for that! I've only found two towns in all of the places I've traveled. :V And can't wait for new monster actions! It's gonna be fun seeing all of the new things they'll be able to do. The attack names could go with a more creative rewrite, though. :p And ship dungeons... Well...


    I think I've encountered what looked like a downed Glitch ship, or something similar, that was way futuristic for the lore established. It was crazy looking and awesome and I'd look forward to seeing something like that on a grand scale in the inky black void (though I have no idea what the story is behind it, given that there are lore books I've probably yet to find).

    And if there are ship upgrades, you could make modular, randomly generated shells of smaller ships to piece together for the board-able ships. And I hape you're doing the "Deathstar" approach to the planet-sized ones, in which case a certain decorative item found in-game suddenly makes a huge amount of sense. :giggle:

    And the tech mapping reminds me of Mass Effect for some reason. In a good way. I just thought about throwing that out there. I was thinking of that when I applied my first one! :laugh:

    And a colorblind mode is super nice. My sister has a friend that would take full advantage. :up:

    As for the space ship size. I would love to see us start with a smaller (escape pod) sized ship and have the ability to find/buy/rebuild (salvage parts from) other ships.
    Instead of just Upgrading to a larger ship. There could be space stations or planets which allow you to buy preexisting ships of various sizes/configurations which could also be upgraded for when ship battles get added.
    It would be nice if we could rebuild/overhaul/repair our ships. (Say your traveling and get hit by asteroids and such and have to repair/replace parts?)
    I don't see all ships needing to be the same at all. We could build better parts or salvage parts from other ships and put them into our ships to improve its abilities. (Or just take parts from ours to repair a ship we might have found that we want!)

    It would be cool if you could randomly find derelict space ships/stations during travel. (If you fix them they get marked and you can go back to them if not they just go poof.)
    The breath meter could be tweaked to make it so you could carry an oxygen supply or generator for traveling in some areas. (These generators of course need a power supply or some ingredients to produce oxygen.)
    The same could be done with the warmth meter. (A broken up space station would not be very warm in most cases!)

    Imagine a space station with no life or specialized life (IE: Just security drones or mutated monsters of some kind including zombies.) on it that could be salvaged or repaired. Things needed: Power supplies/generators, Oxygen supplies/generators, Basic/Advanced Habitat control (IE: Things that produce warmth/other things needed for survival!)

    Basically if your on the moon why can you breathe? (I could see some cases for it depending on moon size.) I could see the Glitch not needed to breathe air at all but the other races do need to.
    Florans could probably breathe in the more toxic environments. IE: Bad air that other races would have trouble with. (Glitch could survive but suffer bad effects like corrosion etc without proper equipment.)
    The above two points are obviously race specific but not all race specific features are not necessarily bad and should be considered race specific. Not too powerful but not too week to be worthless.

    Farming could be overhauled to allow for certain biomes to effect growth time of certain plants.
    Hunting could be overhauled with additional features added. IE: You kill a monster with a hunting weapon and can harvest specific parts that you want/need instead of how it works now. (Who knows maybe you want the shell of this monster but don't need the meat or perhaps the meat is too toxic to be eaten or is poisonous. Perhaps I just want the bones/hide to make weapons/armor or to build with? Give more reason to hunt monsters!)

    For the stargate/spawn options it would be nice if we could put special names on them.
    IE: Stargate : <special name/code> If you don't know the code you have to go find or build your own module to get to that stargate. (If someone destroys or changes it the gate is obviously gone! This would be nice as if I have a home base I might not want someone knowing where it is. I might bury it somewhere underground lol!)
    IE: Spawn : <special name/code> Same as above!

    I like the fact that we are getting wiring but unfortunately lots of people don't know how to control themselves they don't all explore usually they just destroy.
    So I could spend hours wiring a nice base up with secrets but I guarantee 90% of the time it would be the following (even if it was in a randomly generated dungeon/space station/castle whatever) <insert random player> : Oh look at this! It looks cool! "Picks up drill due to laziness/just being a jerk" Lets mine it all!

    This is why dungeons and such need that protection mechanism the devs talked about along time ago!

    Dunno if anyone has mentioned this idea (if so, I'm sorry!), but maybe there should be fuel ships floating around in sectors where you can spend pixels for fuel (like Mass Effect), and possibly upgrade your ship to hold more fuel (meaning more resources or spending of pixels in this idea).
