(Essentially this is a thread to show the village I've been making since the last wipe, with a little flavour text thrown in for fun. ) Edalla (Alpha Beid Minoris II) Named in honour of the rogue pilot that gave her life to help smuggle the first refugees to this small world, the village of Edalla is a slowly expanding community of Free Apex. Here the citizens can read, watch, and go whatever they want. Unfortunately not every Apex is able to cope with their new found freedom, others openly abuse it, causing destruction to property and harm to others. Any civilization requires power to thrive and Edalla is no different, the villages current primary source of power is the old reactor core of a crashed Human freighter found embedded in the side of a nearby range of hills. --------------------------- Food Labs: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/452908244659776617/0112D9F2850346942D81C01572D8AD4F29DC46C0/ As the village grew it became more obvious that the small piece of farmable land was unable to keep up with demand, simply expanding the farm land would have created logistical problems both in terms of manpower and ensuring the larger area stayed free of the planet's more aggressive beasts. After much discussion and deliberation plans for the food labs were constructed. Specially designed grow rooms, combined with minor genetic modifications allow for the crops to be grown at an increased rate and with bigger harvests.
Remember me the village I create in minecraft long time ago with some friends... Big walls, enormous castle, train station, houses everywhere, big garden.... good time... Sorry It is really good, I like it. I specially like the idea of the power station. It is something a lot of people forget

I like the designs and the descriptions.. Especially the descriptions! BTW, I mean no offense by that as your constructs are wonderful.. I just found the flavor text to be amusing.. Unfortunately, all I been able to build are very boring generic structures.. Then again I don't put much effort into fancy designs in my constructs largely due to the less-than-permanent status of the worlds.. My buildings generally end up looking like stone bunkers that hypocritically climb skyward with numerous floors instead of going downward.. Most of said floors generally end up being designated a particular crop for mass production.. Currently the bottom 3 floors are storage and crafting with 1 floor being vacant (for now) before you get to the 7 floors of crops and the roof having a small tree farm.. Each end of the floors have a staircase.. Maybe after this upcoming patch I will start making more aesthetically pleasing buildings..
