Aw I thought it was an idea for a block that can be placed over other blocks to disguise them, THAT'S what I want.
Well that is awesome, tell me what you are saying, I kind of understand it and I want to add it to the thread. I just need a bit more info on how it works.
The idea is that you could make a block labeled "disguise _____" in your inventory (The blank is for the the block it is disguised as). When you place it it overlays over the block, you could place it over tnt or something to hide it, since when you look around you can see everything. In order to mine the block beneath it you would have to mine the overlay first, as if it were a real block, but infront of it. You would construct the disguise block with whatever you want it to be made out of. It should only be able to be placed on blocks though... It would be unbalanced to be able to completely hide your base so easily...
