"Nothing. I thought I established that I have literally no money."

 

Turning to Jillian, Crazyon snapped his fingers,which collapsed the sound ward around Jillian in a purple mist.
"I see you're awake."

"Ah, money is not a requirement for these items, simply browse my wares."
"Be careful, though."
He added the last part quickly.

 

Seemingly so far, and it's always good to try and stay positive. But not so positive that your teeth rot out." He said as he kept walking with her looking for new strange sites.

 

"Hm. I did not hear that." Jillian said looking just a tad confused and concerned, she usually had very sensitive hearing.

Crazyon snapped his fingers and a purple mist suddenly appeared around Jillian. Similarly to a scared cat, both in the style of her movements, and in the nature and speed of her reaction, Jillian instantly dove out of the smoke, covering her mouth with her scarf, not inhaling a single fraction of the purple gas. She landed neatly rolling on the ground and took cover behind a nearby cart. A few seconds passed, then Jillian walked out, looking her regular expressionless self, as though nothing noteworthy had happened.
She could hear the sounds of the market again, her world had regained it's idle buzzing. Her hearing had returned to normal with the appearance of the gas. The gas had been of the same color as Crazyons curtains. She turned towards Crazyon and gave him dull, but somehow also intense and chilling look, demanding an explanation.

 

"Hey, whoa whoa whoa! Don't kill each other! I'm pretty sure if this masked guy was going to kill you, you would be dead. You were asleep, Jillian."

 

"Tsk, you shouldn't be so tense."
"It was simply me dissolving the sound ward I placed around you so you could sleep in peace."
Crazyon stared at her, his eyes glowing purple as always.
His eyes briefly gave an intensely powerful look of an unknown nature.
"I can stare too, you know."

Crazyon nodded.
"I wish no one harm at this event."
"Well, except the contestants."

 

Tomas frowned. "Well, that's very reassuring. So, say I do want something from this stand. How am I supposed to pay you?"

 

Jillians hostility faded. Instead she smiled a little, surprised.
"Thats sweet."
The smile was gone rather fast, neutrality followed.
"However, I do not like having my senses dulled, and I do not like sudeness. I have reasons be careful."

 

"You don't."
"I'll simply attempt to find something of your liking."

"I'll keep note of this."
"I'm sorry that it made you uncomfortable."

 

"Mm, thank you. I'll be less tense than." Jillian said, then unfolding her black umbrella.

 

"Stay positive? Well, I have no reason not to now, we've made it here, things are looking up for the first time since we left our village." Veila replied, smiling as she followed behind.

 

"What is magic." Jillian said abruptly changing topic, not for the sake of changing topic. Perhaps a too expansive topic to discuss when there is a customer, but she left that for Crazyon to decide

 

She got a sense that he was smiling back before he knelt down to look at a very strange plant they had come across "I do have to wonder who made this place."

 

Crazyon began to chuckle, it was oddly unnerving.
"That, my dear, is something I could not explain to you."

 

"Could you explain how to use it?"

 

A very pale dryad with almost glowing blue-green hair got up at seeing she had awoken.

"Please do try to keep still, the healing has a little while more left in order to make sure you don't get scars." she said softly.


The room itself was dimly lit and had several beds for injured, and for some reason was made completely made of wood. There was one exit that led up towards the arena, around where Kara was sitting, and the only ones in the room were Lilly and the dryad.

 

The waiter looked at the oblivious Hela with his eyes, and back to tar several times before stating "It's not for the weak, liqueur made to burn all the way down"

 

Lilly looked to the dryad curiously, nodding a bit and laying back down on the small bed as she replied "Alright, then, thank you." and looking around the room some.

 

Amber sighed getting up grabbing an old rag and pressing it against his cut "you should go to the infirmary"

Serena nodded "a couple. None of them believed me though... so I showed them what I see."

 

Sitting back down on the floor, sorta hugging her knees next to her chest, the Dryad was stuck in awkward silence for a little bit before deciding to ask

"Are you hungry, thirsty, or anything?" She said, nearly hopeful sounding at the prospect of having something to do.
