Maeja skittered on over to the succubus, standing just off to her side while she wasn't looking. She crossed her arms, glaring at Enigma with her eight glowing eyes, tapping one of her spidery legs on the ground. "Well if it isn't little miss hero," She taunted with a hiss.

 

Enigma noticed her finaly. She looked briefly pretty damn suprised.
" W-Wha? W-Why the heck are you here?! "

 

Maeja scowled, barring her fangs. "Came to watch the fights with my pet," She hissed at her. "I saw your name on the board. Shame I won't get to beat you myself."

 

Enigma calmed down a bit.
" Well you seem rather upset. Your pet huh? You mean kitten? "
" I heard you tried to come back and take him instead. A less dangerous and smaller cat huh? Worked out great too i heard. "

 

Maeja stamped the ground, glaring angrily at her. "I Wouldn't have had to do it in the first place if you hadn't intruded in on my home!" Her eyes glowed brightly, staring daggers into the succubus. She dared not hit her, the thought of that collar still in the back of her mind.

 

Enigma smiled a bit.
" You kidnapped my friend. I helped her. Then you come back and try again with a different person. Did you really think it whould work that time? "

 

The drider turned, closing her eyes. "You tore my life away from me."

 

Enigma glared a bit.
" And you tore the life away from the people you kidnapped and turned into servants. You very nearly did so to Kalissa. Im not excactly going to forgive you or apologise. "

 

Maeja sighed, chuckling to herself. "I fed them, gave them a warm nest to sleep in and a safe place to call home. Ask any of my other pets before you came. They adored me!"

 

Enigma pointed at her fangs.
" And that little mind control venom is just something "Voulenteered" for? Well some might have. I dont know. But what you did was plain wrong. "

 

Maeja straightened herself up. "....Mind control? You think that's what my venom does?" She turned back to her, shooting her a grin while licking one of her fangs. "My venom calms the nerves and steadies the mind. It makes the weight of the world lift from your shoulders.... I'd love to let you have a sample~"

 

" I alredy know how it works. Its pretty damn obvious. Yeah its a muscle relexant but also clouds your brain, Wether it litterarly makes you control the person or just leaves them incredebly open to suggestion i dont know. But i know its also highly addicting.
By the way, Speaking of that. Why didnt you go after me? Instead you went for kitten? Were you really that desperate for new pets? "

 

"It's not addicting at all," Maeja responded with a snicker. She scowled at Enigma's next statement. "You never showed your face back down in that spring. Those two nekos were more than happy to come and play." A moment after that thought, a sly grin spread across her face. "And why would that be? Afraid of a few little slimes, hmm?"

 

" Not really. I was down there with Kalissa the day you kidnapped her remember?
Also, You did actuly get to give me a dose of venom. Hope you enjoyed that. It seems one or two doses only acts as a relexant, then at the third or fourth the eyes start glowing? Your servants must have had over a thousand doses.
Anyway, Too bad you didnt go for me. Now you're stuck here because you went for someone Xertra gave a few damns about. Oh and im also right in your reach and you can do nothing. Funny how that works out. "

 

Maeja scowled at her, turning to walk away. "Have fun with your fight. Hope they don't hurt that pretty little face too badly." She said, her voice stinging with sarcasm.

 

" Thanks! I wonder if they will put you to use cleaning the arena later. 8 legs could work quite fast. " Enigma said giggling a bit.

 

Jillian woke up from slumber, yawning subtly. Things were remarkably quiet, she found this slightly alarming, but decided to neglect it. She sat up and slowly turned her head from side to side, looking around, searching for something to do. Thomas was speaking to crazyon. She walked up to the two of them and gave short greetings
"Hi."

 

"Oh, hello again. You're all over the place today. Are you in the tourney?"

 

"No, i came here to buy these"
Jillian made slight gestures hinting towards the sunglasses she was wearing and the umbrella she was carrying.
"But I fell asleep. I won't need them anymore."
"You are fighting soon. What are you buying here?"

 

"interesting. vell i just put zat down as a maybe zen." carstel pondered for a moment "did you meet any body in this castle before me?"
