Closed the dash tech wont work

i tried to use the energy dash tech and nothing happened

 

You have to select it as your active tech in the inventory.

 

Make sure its active in your inventory & that the Tech slot is locked in

 

Guys,why techs that not in first slot don`t work? Is it aversion bug or what?

* F for blink, mech transformation... it isss sssay in the inventory asss a dessscription.
* Double-tap up, right or left for the Dash or the double jump !
* Space + Direction and ssspace for bubbledasssh and butterfliess or the cameraman one.
* And the rocket jump asss Slice usssed it, it'sss hold on jump with Z (Up) for high jumping.

One, don't roleplay in the support forums.

Two, you're neglecting to inform the user that he needs to select a tech in his inventory as the active tech first, which he would have found out if he would have read the damn thread, because I and another user already posted that solution in this thread.

 

It's you not reading the thread to find out that you have to select a tech in the inventory to use it.

Here's how cool I am: For the first 2 days I had Energy Dash (my first tech), I didn't realize I had to select the tech icon and then left click my player icon in the top left of the screen to "learn" the tech. Here's to hoping that's not your issue, but if it is, then don't feel as ridiculous as I did. I re-read the "Control Yourself" journal entry numerous times, but until I went online, I didn't figure it out.

Where in game did I miss the instruction to select a tech (or any learnable item) and left click my player icon? I don't mind looking like an idiot - just curious.

 

It's never actually mentioned anywhere. It's something you have to find out by trial and error or hearing from someone else.

And "learning" the tech blueprint only amounts to "pick it up from your inventory and click anywhere outside of your inventory". You don't have to click on your player icon.
