I would like to know how many units of your currency(yen, dollars, etc.) do you think equals 1 pixel in Starbound.

We value our currency as above Super Mario coins but below Zelda Rupees.

Well, Super Mario Coins are 100 to the 1-Up and Zelda Rupoors are worth -10x single Green Rupees.

I think that makes it perfectly clear about the status of our currency. :ninja:

    10 rupees aren't enough for a 1-up? Blasphemy.

nonononononoon. no. we are trying to get a standard US dollar to pixel ratio, but if there was a pixel to yen or such we could convert it from that to US dollars.

    It's a currency.
    In a game.
You don't buy game currency with real currency. Unless it's a silly MMO with obsessed players.
    They're reasonably qualitatively incomparable.

You don't wonder how many ducks it takes to liquify a spatula.

So, the pixels are gonna be valued like terrarias coins?

So I'm gonna guess 1 (cheapest type of pixel) would be equvilent to a penny, and the (gold?) pixel would be a dollar? Just guessing.

Regardless of the relative use of the currency, we're looking for a relatable real-life example of what a single pixel can or cannot buy. IE, one US dollar during the Great Depression or one Zimbabwe Dollar.

Also, it takes three ducks. Unless it's on a day beginning with T, then it takes seven ducks.

Hello how much is this bread?
    -> Just one dollar.
Oh okay. Here is single pixel instead.
-> A single pixel cannot buy my bread! Get out of my shop!

Every Super Mario Coin was approx. a real-life Nickel when 1-Ups were very important, but Rupees were usually a tenth of a penny.

I estimated a pixel to be worth about 3 sheckels, or 8 drachmas. Or about 73/82 of a US dollar in 1999. In Nintendo terms, thats 23 1/2 Mario coins or 4/5 of a 1-Up ;D TROLOLOLOL

Pixels are completely worthless, regarding the method of hacking!
As shown in the following example:
"TROLOLOL, hey look at this bro I used som haxx and got me 125 000 000³ Pixels! ROFLCOPTER"
