I may not remember it right now,but if you type in bright piano in the search bar and toggle one of the options to view posts that contain the word only on this thread, you may find the coordinates again.

Evidence suggests yes; if you find a chest outside in the world, including down inside the planet in underground tunnels, the contents will be the same, with the exception that between Windows 7 and 8 the loot is sometimes different. Buildings however are considered dungeons, so their loot is random. Thanks for the crystal planet, I might want to check that one out! Only seen underground crystal biomes so far...

Are you running Windows 8? I'm running Windows 7 and I found the planet and the miniboss, but the chest you mention had silver bars and bombs. No coat. The next chest along to the right, however, did have a tricorne hat... Anyone running Windows 7 who has coordinates for the pirate coat?

 

I found the lowest dungeon I've encountered thus far on a drained ocean biome, plus a banana hat:



For Windows OS: Go around the planet until you find the giant dark pit. It is completely flat and has marine-like plant life which leads me to believe it's some sort of drained ocean that I've heard mentions of before.

Somewhere along the ocean floor you'll find a chest with a banana hat. To the right of the floor you'll find a jump quest dungeon with a tech chest at the end. This is possibly the lowest place a dungeon is allowed to exist:



I've been searching hardcore for the treasure biome/treasure dungeon on smaller planets but still have found nothing. I'm questioning whether or not it is implemented at all by the fact that literally no one has mentioned finding it so far - or perhaps it really is that damn rare.

 

1 quick question,If someone found coordinates for Windows 7 for a item but i used for Windows Vista will the loot be exactly the same(just making sure)

I found this weird fortress to the left of the spawn point on this planet. X:80269105 Y:-74958086 X Delta Aql 6463 V.

 

I know this is a ridiculous request, but someone please post the Jon Afro Jukebox if you ever find it. All the coords I can find of it are outdated. I been wanting to get it for a while.

That's actually to be determined. There have been cases of Win7/8 coords working, and not. So it's a maybe with any given coord.

 

Was wondering cus the coordinates i got for Windows 7 i tried on Windows Vista and well I NEVER got the item i wanted so yeah was wondering

also sorry i put windows 8 instead of windows vista ;p

 

Ah Don't know anything about vista, but if I had to take a guess, I'd figure it wouldn't work.

 

Does anyone have coordinates for Bunny Hat?

 

If someone finds the AA Battery Pack (back) or Oxygen Tank (back) please post about it. Also here are all kinds of armor http://starbounder.org/Vanity_Armor .

 

It was before or after the Avian Dungeon on a Large Old Chest! Those chest kinds contain weapons and shields only! Try to go further!

 

I stated that was a possibility a few pages back. this is still early beta so there may be somthing in the world gen preventing from loading right now.

edit: I remember someone playing unstable version posting coords but I cant find them in this thread.

This asteroid field has a creature that looks very similar to bulbasaur (minus the ridge on its head, and its pod on its back being a little too small.)

This has a bunch of stuff. If you head to the left, you'll come across a chest (I forget if it's the first or second chest you find, though) with some Fairy Wings. If you keep going left, you'll eventually come across a mini glitch castle with a glitch king and then a glitch wizard. There are several mini bosses as well as two apex training facilities.

It also has a couple of neat looking creatures:





Note: the fairy wings are in an ordinary surface chest. I'm still trying to figure out which chests are static or random, based on people's posts, so bear with me if it's not in there

 

surface chests only vary by the OS you use. ANY chest located INSIDE a building are treated as in a dungeon and are therefore randomized.

3 of my rust chests had junk in them, but of you need rust BPs, you should check here anyway since my biome chests tend to be unstable. Let me know what you find. It would be nice to know that someone is getting cool stuff out of these chests even if I can't.

 

...why do the rust chests say ice chests instead lol.
also, never found any of the techs.

 

Allow me to clarify: Ocean biome planets are in the game's code but unused.
What you found I've seen a few times: pretty much a crater in the ground going past the sunlight level. Although it was larger for you since dungeons always seem to flatten out the area they are occupying, which makes under airships good building spots.

Nice dungeon, especially love that melting fish to the right...
I may use these coords for an evil volcano base...

I keep hearing about this treasure biome. Devs, pics or it didn't happen!
