EVERYONE LOOK! LOOK! LOOK! I FOUND THE COOLEST THING EVER! IT IS AN ABANDONED BUT NEAT APEX RESEARCH LAB, ITS GOT POSTERS, TV'S TEST TUBES, MACHINES, SWITCHED, BEDS, ELECTRICITY AND SO MUCH MORE! IT IS FRIGGIN AWESOME I AM GONNA MAKE IT MY HOUSE IT IS SO COOL!

The laboratory is on the forest planet, when you land, head west and you cant miss it!

Don't be so emotional. This lab isn't the last one! I just found 3 or 4 of them in a row. Remember: universe in Starbound is SO big that you will have a lot of fun exploring it further! (Especialy when you reach X sector) Good luck!

Go left from LZ for a ruther long time... Then you'll reach Avian Village, still going left you'll find another one Village and in a small surface chest you'll find a 3553dmg. Bonehammer! Also there're some Orb mini-bioms with Ice Sphere Chests. I earnd 2 Penguin and 2 Snowman Snowglobes! Have a good luck!

Going left will get you to an Avian Tomb , when you pass it youll find both Rainbow Chests , containing Rainbow Bed BP and a Rainbow Cape.

- i wrote this because you didnt write planet name , planet system , and system name , luckily i saw the sand in the picture and went to the only desert planet that was there , still that is about how you shouldve posted it , so other people can understand where it is .

Go right for a while and you'll find... Two legendary weapons in one chest!!! Eye Sword and Water Sword waiting for you guys!

Going to the right you will get to 2 chests next to each other , one of them will contain a Bass Guitar , not an electric one , going further you will find a doublechest with a Rare Grenade Launcher with strange ( mouse ? ) bullet type , going even further right you will find an Apex Village .

Left from LZ after Apex building in a Large Old Chest there is Legendary S. Rifle, then some more walk left there will be a Legendary Pistol in a small surface chest, next to it is another chest in a small pool of water contained Tool Spawner and stilling go left you'll reach Glitch Village! Going right for a while you'll find a Tech Chest with a Target Blink! Have a luck guys!

Found a very nice, cozy, small moon planet I'm considering using for my temporary home one. (Which at this point means I'll probably just grow crops there, but still.) I'm on Windows.

It's Gamma Eps Eri Majoris Ia, obviously in the Gamma sector under the system with the same name. The coordinates are x -86979643, y -6369948.

It has an arid climate, and the weather is fairly nice though it does sometimes get a little cold at night. Just nippy and nothing that should quickly freeze you to death. It's TINY and easily combed over. There's some poison pools, but those are easily avoided. The sky is blue and so are a lot of the dry sand and sandstone blocks, which is something I like. The landing area sticks you in a small tentacle sub-biome, but it's small enough that if you don't like it you can get rid of all the tentacle trees easily enough. The inner core past the sand is mostly cobblestone. No flesh or bone. There's a USCM military base and little else, if someone wanted to make that their own.

 

There is MORE????? Cool, I am still new to Starbound so I have no idea what to expect... Thanks.

 

The second Heck planet I posted has a treasure pool that most likely has the Heck weapons in it, but the bug is still there from last patch which causes the server to freeze. The treasure pool can't call upon the Heck items because they don't exist in the game yet, or, at the very least, they are bugged.

Next patch, once they most likely fix this problem, we can return to that planet and see what was in those chests.

Crystal biome to left, USCM facility, tech chest w/bubble boost in volcanic cave (visible from surface). Middle Meteor weather (not the biggies, nor the ones that don't damage). Crystal backpack+chair bp in chest.

 

well, the planet is kind small, so you can keep looking for more chests at the rainbow biome in the cave lvl... i hope you find it!

A really beautiful planet that has two large floran prisons on it for those that want end game plasma weapons and the floran elecro prod. The first prison is about 3 minutes to the left using butterfly boost and is surrounded by snow. The other is considerably further away, about 10 mins to the right using butterfly boost and is surrounded by grass. There are some other wierd landmarks along the way to the right, although nothing really interesting came out of any of the chests.

There are also plenty of surface chests between the spawn point and the prison to the left. There are also at least one or two bosses in that direction before the prison. So if you're reseting the planet in order to find more legendary items, this could be an easy farm.

WARNING! The inhabitants of the prisons are very dangerous end game mobs. Some of them have sniper rifles that can take out more than half your health in one shot, and their electro prods hit for slightly more than that. Best tactic I've found is to rush them with two of the best one handed weapons you can craft and mow them down, then stop and heal.
