From looting the entire village top to bottom my take is the following:
- Copper Ore X5
- Silver Pickaxe
- Writing Ban (book)
- A Review (book)
- Treetop Dwellings (book) X2
- Skeleton Axeaffector (regular riot shield)
- Gold Bar X5
- Common 2-hand axe
- Stone axe

As I said, random. You finding good loot there was a lucky roll, definitely not the norm for what people will find. Your post has merit for sharing the avian village and the planet's qualities, it might be just what someone is looking for, but posting about the random loot you got without mentioning that it is random might lead to some people going there in search for the same loot, and then getting confused or frustrated when they cannot find it. I'm not trying to be mean or discourage you from posting, I'm just trying to point out how the random loot works to help you clarify any future coordinates you may post.

Don't know if you're still looking for a pet , but I found an interesting looking one on a threat level 10 planet. Also on that planet you can find the butterfly boost schematics and a Rust door schematic in an Icy Chest (although it looks quite rusty to me)

Interesting loot - Chef jacket, quite far to the right of spawn in a surface chest. Might be faster going left.

Found a very wierd...musical instrument?... Apparently I can play songs on this thing but I didn't try it yet.

It might be closer to reach from the right, but if you go left you will eventually reach a glitch castle and shortly after that the merchant that you can see on the screenshot.

 

Yeah, that Model M is cool. Basically it sounds like banging on an old, very clicky computer keyboard.

 

Just tried it myself.
I wonder how many keyboards were broken while recording all those songs.

 

That's not really how midi files work, but it's a funny thought.

Level ten planet, head left for a chest with a floran bone xylophone and a drum kit. Keep going and you'll find a glitch castle. Also, tons of random chests guarded by robots.

Enormous jungle planet. I spent two hours exploring the surface and I'm not even done. Has a ton of ores on or near the ground, a chest where I found a pretty nice plasma pistol, an Avian temple and an easy to deal with local fauna. Some spots have poison water, so watch out. Really nice planet overall, great to get ready for sector X.

 

I also found a plasma shotgun and two Avian temples. There is also a mini boss I came across.

Dinosaur Hat, Pirate Bandanna and a Plain Hood, Couple of rare guns.

Go either Left or Right to find the Chests, If you head Left you will pass 3 Dogs and then come to a Matter Facility, Past the Matter facility is the 2 chests with Hats on the side of 2 Hills. If you reach the second Matter facility you have gone too far.

From the Left you should come to this chest first, With the Dino Hat.

A little further along you should find the second chest with a Pirate Bandanna and a Plain Hood.

 

Didn't sell any Toucan or macaw equipment for me. I found a banana mask in a chest on the ship.
