Lately me and my friends have recently been playing Starbound and have had no problem until we started playing quite frequently. Recently we have started to take notice of the Chucklefish laugh while the game loads. Now at first it didn't bother us but now it has become just a plain annoyance as the Chucklefish has and now is practically mocking us, and we have had enough of it.

So this is what I propose, Chucklefish refrain from using that pitiful laugh that has been mocking us since we started playing Starbound and replace it with something a lot less agitating.

As proof of how this chuckle is effecting my friends and I, I have started to take quotes from my friends as the chuckle fish laugh's at them. One friend said " You f***ing what mate, I'll kill you, you little s***" another friend said " That little s*** is mocking me, isn't he".

Evidentially i am formally asking for Chuckle fish to take this into consideration and understand that some of us are taking the Chucklefish laugh to heart and it is effecting us in a serious way.

well, it IS mocking you.

It's mocking your deep-rooted paranoia of a cartoon pufferfish assuming superiority over you. It's mocking the fact that you and your friends are clearly haunted by it.

But that doesn't mean it's bad.

It's trying to help you by making you realize that you have a serious problem and that you need help.

Go get help. Chuckle T. Fish commands it of you.

Dear SeaMichelle but although the Chucklefish may be haunting us, the only reason it mocks us is because well are all followers of the great and powerful Helix Fossil as it is jeloious that we don't praise the great and powerful Chucklefish as we do the Helix Fossil.

Serious though, if a chuckle .wav is all it takes to offend someone or goad murderous rage, I weep for the next generation of gamers. I faced so much worse from my NES!

I remember the first days playing starbound, I would hear that dumb laugh then the game would never load. After the tenth time I wanted to kill the damn fish.

Since the launcher takes forever to load it usually ends up behind another window, and that damn laugh ALWAYS surprises me.
