The Children of Knowledge. They have all the technological prowess in the known Universe. Regarded as dark and mysterious, powerful and godly, they are who bring the truth to this world. They come in every race, Human, Hylotl, Floran, Novakid, Glitch, Avian, and Apex. Greenfinger once belonged to our ranks as well. They live in the Oceans, building towering cities that touch past the surface, and into the sky. Their homeworld, Lilantia, has many architectures considered advanced and artistic by many. The nine countries there, Gravitoria, Singdoria, Flinoru, Zitornis, Lacrad, Juyorous, Kretonis, Elonsis, and Xitonsis. Xitonsis holds the capital, Crystalia, the Imperial hold of their knowledge. The knowledge beheld by this peaceful people is unending, always having more added. It is a safehold for those who would leave their race's commons. Though they have one enemy, rising deep inside. The Penguins. They terrorize our people, and in turn leave us crippled. But we recover fast. They control our earthen resources of Coal, Solarium and Rubium. Juyorous: A country of entertainment. Think of it as our Hollywood, but on a larger scale. Kretonis: A country of astronomers. They look to the stars to improve Lilantia, and give us cures to disease. Elonsis: A country of builders. They create our towering buildings. Xitonsis: Our trading hub. It also holds the planetary capital, Crystalia, where our Parliament resides. Moon-Brighter sat in the room of crystals in the Loveburn Tavern in Crystalia. "Another", he sighed. "Think you've had enough...", the barkeep said. "I said... Another." Moon-Brighter said with a wry glow of blue Novakid plasma. "Fine then.", said the barkeep as he balanced a tray in his hand.
Reiden had arrived in Crystalia unnoticed until an old man spotted him lurking in the shadows of the towering buildings. Word spread quickly, and soon there were three armed guards surrounding him. "What are you doing here, Demon?" once yelled. "Business." Reiden replied. "You come with us; we have some... questions to ask you." a tall Avian said forcefully. And with that, Reiden was being escorted to an interrogation room. Despite Reiden's protests, the guards wouldn't let him go. So he ran. The time was ripe. The guards were beginning to relax. A crystalline building came ahead. Love burn Tavern was the name. Reiden swiftly pulled the jagged red blade of Gazing Horror out and swung it at one of the guards. Then he ran. He felt a shocking pain in his leg that made him stumble, but he finally reached the tavern. He swung the door open and shut it as he came in, only to find himself faced with an old friend: Bananasqueeb Moon-Brighter.
"Reiden?! What the bloody devil are you doing here? I thought you were in Alpha Minoris, fighting off the Penguins! But it is good to see you, old friend. Ah, but you're shaking like you've seen a ghost!", Moon-Brighter exclaimed.
James stepped through the capital city, his feet lightly stepping on the blue crystals that composed the streets. "Whoever built this place had a fetish for crystals" He noted as the crystalline structures rose and fell in the distance. He eventually found his destination, the Bar "Loveburn Tavern". He didn't always come to the trading country of Xitonsis, but when he did, he always stopped by here. Compared to those poor excuses out in Singdoria, this Bar was complete heaven. As he stepped inside, he walked to the counter and ordered his favorite ale, one made from terrestrial fruits. One of the last few memories from home. (OOC: What species are your characters? I know that Moon-Brighter is a novakid)

((OOC: You seem to forget, it's called an Avex. I have wings like a bat!)) Reiden quickly reached into his chestplate and pulled out three dark orbs. "My dear Bananasqueeb, it appears that a kind man like me has broken the law during his first thirty minutes in the city." Reiden told Moon-Brighter. Reiden fiddled with each of the orbs and they lit up into a bright blue hue. "And now, I must erase those who know." Reiden slid next to the door and, before anyone could react to his speech, the doors slammed open. The three guards barged in. Reiden threw the orbs on there backs. The guards looked around, and one finally spotted the dark figure and alerted the others. But it was too late. The orbs made a high pitch squeal and the three guards vanished in a blue flash.
Moon-Brighter: "I told you not to call me that! But other than that, where in the world were you to break the law? What's with those orbs? Why are you in the city? Why are the guards chasing you?"
"I WILL CALL YOU WHATEVER I WANT!" *flips table* "It is a very long story. I'm here to find a business client, but it seems that I ran avay from some questioning. And the orbs are a long story too. We need to get somewhere were we can in private."
Hearing the commotion, James looked around, and saw 2 aliens. One was a Novakid, apparently called "Bannanasqueeb" and the other was a...bat thing? However, it was their discussion about a safe place to hide that was interesting. "I have a nice house out in Singdoria, I am a model citizen and the cops don't even come by my place." James announced, gulping down the last of his drink. "The question is, what can you boys offer me in return?"
((I look like dis: )) "You want something in return... *spam* Well, I have absolutely nothing to give. But I can guarantee that we won't kill you, although using you as a hostage is still in the question. Hmm... what do you think, Moony?"
ALL DA HOSTAGES "I think we should go with him to the farm. But then we must make it to Lacrad. I know a few good caves to hide in there. But we must be wary of creatures along the way", Moon-Brighter said hopefully. "Been a while since I had a real adventure!"
James frowned thoughtfully, and spoke "It doesn't seem you have anything to offer me, so I'll just ask you a question: Why are the cops after you, and what 'business' were you going to discuss with your client?"
"Ya see.... We're Mercenaries. We don't get much pay, so this job to steal a crystal of knowledge is one we can't bust. We are rather unsure about the person were giving it to though.", Moon-Brighter said hurriedly.
"Moony... I believe I have something much more serious to discuss. But we can't let it get out to the public. We need privacy. (@James) You there, I don't know what your name is, so I'm go on a call you Billy. So, Billy, do have any idea what your home's " Time Signature" is?"
James stood up, and walked by the back door. "First, my name's James, second, no, I don't. How would you find out?"
Reiden walked up menacingly to James, and grabbed his arm. He took out a small knife, and cut the palm of James had. A blue light shined from Reiden's other hand as it scanned the blood. "Your home's Time Signature is 'BlaaL'. What the heck happened..." Then Reiden pulled out three more of those uncanny orbs, and started fiddling with them. They all flashed blue, indicating that they were active...
