That would be pretty cool. Not only will it hurt the creature inside but it will explode and hurt anything around it.
Hey, once in a stream I saw that they showed some kind of Bubble gun, but I think it was a work in progress. It shoot small bubbles really quick, I don't know if it hurts enemies though.
On an unrelated note, I like this idea. Maybe it'd work like Polymorph in WoW, in that you can disable the target, but if you attack them they'll be freed(by the bubble popping)? Dunno, just a suggestion. You could use it to sideline an enemy while you kill any allies with support powers/items, or just use it to escape a fight you're losing.
Can I just say that there's already a bubble gun in the game, (Shown in a Stream) although small bubbles, not big ones that trap you inside. If you're referring to the Water Staff from Hexxit? http://hexxit.wikia.com/wiki/Water_Staff If you can't be bothered reading the wiki, it does this: The water staff is crafted using a shapeless recipe containing a staff and water essence. Left clicking performs a regular attack, but right clicking will engulf your target in a water bubble that will carry it up into the air and drop it from height inflicting fall damage. However, if there is a ceiling above the enemy, this attack can also inflict suffocation damage. The enemy may also be pulled through the ceiling and land on the block it travelled through. You can find more information on the Essences and the Staves on the Essences page. That could be the main use of it. And to make it even better, it's a mod, so (I assume) it isn't copyright. Just call it a gun instead of a staff and you'll be fine, anyway. I'm going to think that the idea wasn't taken from this anyhow. Also, considering there's already a gun like this in the game as well, you could make either small bubbles, or big bubbles on the same gun, even though the weapon that was used in the Stream was a Vanity Item, just for prettiness, no dmg given to it, but I'm unsure whether that is subject to change. NOM. Finally, ask me if you want me to find the Stream, I think it was one that was recorded and put somewhere...I have nothing better to do with my time anyhow
All we need is a vanity item that makes you trail rainbows and the enemy will never be able to take you seriously! Especially if the bubbles are pink.
