The Black Mages of Starbound Clan [BMSC]

Been playing some RPG immersion from that launcher recently actually, its lots of fun if you don't mind being mauled by nearly everything that moves

 

I tried that and within the first day I ran into an ender-spider. If there's two things that should never be combined, it's endermen and spiders. Seriously.

 

Ah! That was my first encounter in my mines, they do loads of damage but if you can lure them into rain, they have low health anyway.

At least they don't start forest fires like those Frost creatures do, gah that was annoying.

Small Introduction: Well, I joined the Starbound community a long while ago. The beginning of last year or so I think. I was active for about 5-6 months, before I set off to find others little (as Starbound was at the time) communities. I ended up finding a minecraft server and spending a deal of time there. I just recently came back, and I hope to be more active. I plan on doing that by joining an active clan and catching up on all I missed these past many months.

A couple of us will probably be playing Cube World when we can get our hands on it, if that interests you.

 

Thank you I've heard CubeWorld is like Minecraft but on cocaine. I'll have to look it up.

Will we eventually, when Starbound comes out, have a server dedicated to the clan?

 

What is the server info btw? I don't think I have it anymore, if it's even the same.

Could you, uh, tone it down a little? I understand we're allies, but over here we aren't as... spastic as other clans. Just ask nicely.

Also I'm on record as saying that the alliance/enemy idea is kind of pointless right now.

Finally, I'm not going to tell my members to upvote your post simply due to any kind of allegiance. If they take a look, I want them to vote honestly based on their opinions.

 

Firstly, I color coded it for emphasis. I don't believe I wasn't nice either. You don't have to ask your members, because I did, but I am at least asking that If they do vote down, They at least read the whole thing.

 

Who knew pirates could be so fabulous? Haha, I guess I'll take a look.

 

I'm afraid I find it's having the opposite effect in practice; everything about your post comes off as an obnoxious advertisement. I know that you have good intentions, but when you are asking for a favor it really helps to look more professional, especially if it's of people who don't know you otherwise. To be honest, I barely held off reporting you for advertisement long enough to realize it was a request from an allied clan.

My wording was bad in my original reply; I meant that I'd prefer if you weren't coercing them to vote yes simply because you want to use them to counteract some negative feedback other people are giving the thread. That's very game-the-system-esque and I don't want any of my friends to get in trouble for it if it's against the rules.

Oh, and as an aside, you also double posted instead of editing your comment. You should try to avoid that.

You've completely missed the point. It wasn't regular people giving regular feedback, it was idiots spamming down votes for the sake of a petty rivalry.
The tone of my original message was meant to be lighthearted, It was never meant to provoke such an abrasive response. Furthermore, your knee jerk "reporting" is, I believe, fabricated, and therefore must be some semblance of an insult, which I find to be rather uncalled for. Indeed, one of your own members said that he would check it out, proving this to be an effective method. I do not see how this is any different from "advertising" in your signature, except that it is more imploring.
However, this is your thread, and I will do my best to respect your rules.

If you mean me, I said I would take a look because you are an ally and hey space pirates in the game might be cool. Not because of the large colorful post.
The way you posted it did make it seem like advertisement spam though.
