So i was thinking there might be an item called the black light. The black light would help you see things that you normally couldn't. Certain stones or things would react to the ultra violet light. These things would glow under the UV light. The UV light itself would not actually be visible but only the light from things that glow. So you could use this to find special stones or items underground that would look like just your average stone, but then when you shine your black light at it you will be able to notice its something special.
If the black light were to be used then there would have to be a ore for it, or else what would be the point of it.
I don't think I'd find something you'd end up having to "scan" every inch of everywhere to find everything interesting. If it was some kind of flashlight or scanning device that would only be useful in temples(just an example) to find hidden door switches, treasure, or even invisible enemies then I think it'd be cool.
hmmm...radars help us search. Yet again if someone forgot their radar it will be handy some point to know ore is...
yea i agree invisible creatures and messages would be cool, not sure how they would implement the invisible messages tho, Because since there's very little ink used in the future, everything's on a hologram.
