The Avians

This is so exciting! I love non-human playable classes, species variety is always fun! Whether it's from different stats or abilities, to the simple enjoyment of varied appearance, I love them so much! Thank you guys, and I'd love if you could include more alien species to play as. Something canine perhaps, or a more typical alien? ^.^

 

Was bored and made a very quick and bad attempt at a 1920x1080 wallpaper, using the Avian image that was shown, for anyone who wants to use it.



I edited it so that the pixels were still sharp after scaling it. Hope y'all like it.

I approve of the species, but I hope to see some sentient species that are not bipeds. In addition, I would like a dragon-like species if at all possible.

 

As cool as that would be, I don't imagine it will happen because they'd have to redraw a lot of armour and weapon sprites to make them work with the different races if they weren't all humanoid It still looks like they're going to try to get the maximum variety that they can with this limitation though, so hopefully there'll still be quite a lot of choice.

 

Hence my eye patch and other scars. And people say photoshop isn't dangerous.

 

I wanna see sloth people or frog people.

Well... Its defiantly a unique idea. Don't hear of too many Frog People.

Alright, just got back from a long trip and I'm a bit behind on the new announcement.

So, we got bird-folks. Cool. I'm personally not into birds much, especially non-flying birds (penguins are an absolute exception to anything I say here, I love'em), but this shows that we will probably have a number of other races as well, which I do like. They do look rather ballin' though, I might give them a try eventually.

I do dig the idea of lizard people though.. Dog people? GOOFY

Thanks for posting. Their procedurally generated temples look awesome! Can't wait for some multiplayer either. I don't like the fact that it's been night in all the photos recently though, I want to see some more of the backgrounds!

 

Im going to make one and name him Larry
