The Avians

Avians are awesome, probably my first character will be a avian, tho, i like reptilians a bit more, so i wish tiy make reptilles race, THAT would be PERFECT

 

Honestly? It's likely there will be a reptillian race. Although what type of reptile it might be based off of is hard to say.

 

I just realized how, lore wise, the Avians are very similar to the Protoss.
You know, space faring tribal aliens who were uplifted by a mysterious advanced race, and both following a strict religion/code.

 

Catgirl race.

I think that they look pretty cool.
I really like the Aztec architecture style as well!
Clever how you made the wing-jetpack thing look like something from a wall carving.

Probably not my race of choice, but I'll enjoy seeing them around! ...if only to loot their temples.

If there's a race of something undead, shadowy or demonic that's my pick right there.
If not, then maybe I'll play as a human or some sort of lizard/dragon race. Or perhaps a insect, if there is one.

I can't wait to see the rest of the races.

 

Bearded dragon or a snake would be good, i think in some kind of attack using poison like a race-only skill, that would be nice.

 

I am trying to think of a reptile that would fit the current humanoid armor set like the avians do. Possibly monitors, or komodos, or possibly chameleons...

 

Komodos would be awesome, and the poison would still apply since a komodo can kill a deer with his poison lol

 

Rather than basing it off of a real animal I'd like to see a unique looking reptillian alien race.

I much prefer things that are unique, and barely if at all based off things from Earth.

 

Yes, Avians are the only time this doesn't count because I'm pretty sure feathered aliens would be similar to birds on Earth.

 

Well, various other times could make sense.
Should a species evolve in a similar or the same environment, they will end up very similar.
Just look at Dolphins and Sharks.
Of course, the chance of this happening across PLANETS is so absurdly low...

 

well that could be difficult, since we will naturally try to say that it looks like X even if it wasn't based off of X. And any humanoid reptile is going to look rather like a Bangaa from FF. The only way around this would be to create different armors for each race.

It's possible to make the reptilian race comparable to a form of animal on Earth and still be original. But just the idea of "(insert animal here) people" isn't good enough.
