The Avian Ship

No it's really nothing like what we'd be likely to see in the future. First of all you do realize there's nothing to stop blast doors between rooms on any of the other shape of ship, and not having them in a line allows you to go around a quarantined room in the event of a breach, having a wider ship compartmentalized would work so much better.

The shape would also make it incredibly hard to maneuver in tight spaces like an asteroid field, being as long as it is, and being so long makes it much easier to break, makes it much more dangerous to fly close to a planet, and really lacks much of an advantage.

 

I think adding a thruster somewhere near the top would make me like it a little bit more.It just looks weird to me,as it is,and it does not make a huge difference to me whether or not they change it or they keep it as it is,I would just use a different race,or mod a new ship texture in that I like.I would like to be able to play as an avian without having to use mods to stop myself from going "Mother of god,this ship looks like my geometry homework,but in spaceship form!".

 

Pyramid ship is the one thing stopping me from playing Avian. I'd be fine if I wasn't forced to upgrade my ship to get new quests and tech. I'd just upgrade till I got the room and shape I want.
