Yeah... Funny thing is EA usually accepts the newer developers; they want fresh, new ideas but often times fall short. I learnt that from going to a Game Art & Design program a few years back. Heck, they even earned the Worst Video Game Company of the Year Award one year.

 

Not really, once they wring the life out of their old devs, all the real brains behind a team jump ship; maxis bioware etc - they don't retain their real brains for long once EA slaps them in irons, because they know they'll find support in a enw team or kickstarter project. Hence EA is always looking to acquire new teams; either old but still unclaimed teams with a good name they can piggyback their next shitheap off, or fresh faced devs who are too naive to see where this is going to end.

Remember: EA's CEO started out in the food industry. He views games in a different light to us, he sees them as something to make fast and cheap, flog it off and get a new bunch of titles lined up after. Long term support/patches is both a waste of resources, as well as unessecary for achieving optimum margins - it's more profittable sell a constant chain of new boxes, than to polish up products they've already sold (People buy them anyway, so what does quality matter?).

New ideas scare EA, that is why they meddle and dumb down so many of their promising titles

EA just doesn't care.
I mean, for fuck's sake, C&C 4 has a game mode slider with only one game mode, and it's been like that for years.

 

Sadly the reason I am avoiding Titanfall right now. That and Origin is the biggest trap software I can picture at present...

 

The midi itself isn't working? or is it the abc not working, if the midi is perfectly fine can i seez it?
