Thanks.... think it's going to be a while before I can summon up the nerve to draw my other character, though x) My hands need a chance to recover!

 

Hey guys, I'm going to be MIA for the next 4 days thanks to "shitternet" so if you don't see me much, don't worry. In the mean time, I'll work on some builds to show off, and maybe, if the stars alighn and the gods permit, just maybe try to draw something Avali related.

 

Risk of Rain is as unfair as ever. But I did restart, and earned four new items in one go. (The Soldier's Syringe, too. Dodged about 12 lethal attacks all at once.)

 

I'm jelly.
There is one thing I noticed: I don't think that's a very efficient way to hold a spear, the right hand should be below the handle. Otherwise, nothing to say at all! That's absolutely fantastic!

 

One time I started the Mushroom level in Easy, and when I was dead, I was at Impossible, and I got stomped on by the Magma Worm.
Who knew that the teleporter can spawn in the middle of the fucking level?
And the worst thing is - it could have been my best run ever.

 

I've had plenty of runs like that.

Well, something to remember so you don't rage too much: You WILL die. A LOT.

A bit of advice. Don't try to spend too long in each area, once you get the feel for what the areas are shaped as. And do keep in mind, you're forced to use the Commando until you unlock the other classes. The achievements menu shows (though it doesn't outright tell you which are the characters) what you have to do to unlock things, so pay attention to it.

And if you can, try to get a decent item that heals you, even if it's one that you have to sit still for a moment (that one is actually one of the best).

Last I checked an Avali with a full open mouth can be confused for a shark.
