Uzi fire rate + rockets = op mining laser that destroys magma rock in half a second. It could work though if a lot of restrictions were set. First, parts from one handed and two handed weapons shouldn't be interchangeable ever. parts would also have to be from weapons that fired the same projectile type, you can swap parts form shotguns and avain machine guns because they both fire bullets, but you can't combine a grenade launcher and an uzi, or a flamethrower and a rocket launcher, but you can combine to different types of rocket launchers. I think guns should have 3 parts, one decides fire rate(I'm not sure what the part that automatically reloads machine guns is called, and they aren't all machine guns anyway so I'll call it the reloader) one decides projectile type (clip type) and one (the barrel I guess they're really all decided by what bullets a gun fires so I'm not sure what to call each part) is the main factor for determining the damage. Each part would have an impact on dps, they'd have a value equal to the original dps of the gun they came from, Dps for the gun you make would be barrel dps x2 + reloader dps + clip dps ÷ 4 This makes the dps of the new gun relative to the old guns' power, so you can't take the projectile type from a tier one legendary gun and stick it onto your top tier gun with no concequinces Then it could just be a pixel cost to remake it and it would be fairly balanced
Allow me to elucidate: Gravity Gun: They want the ability to launch the grappled blocks to then be able to be repulsed, much in the way the Gravity Gun works in Half Life Cold Day In Hell: They enjoy this idea thoroughly (And my further thoughts on it are that you could use the device for volatile thermal expansion) PARTAY!
