100% Forest sounds boring yet great at the same time....... Lots of stuff can spawn on a forest, yet other biome choices would be good as well...... Just not Moons and other freezy type biomes.

Assuming that the Floran-like pods that Agarans are implied to hatch from are, in fact, of Floran origin, we can assume that the relationship is either Mutualism or Commensalism.

There's 5 basic kinds of relation in this category:
    • Commensalism, where one species benefit and the other is unaffected,
    • Mutualism, Where both species benefit,
    • Parasitism, where one species (for example, Agarans) receive benefits, and the other species is harmed,
    • Competition, where neither species benefits,
    • Neutralism, where neither species are affected,
    • Predation, where one creature hunts the other.
We can infer that the relation is not Predation due to the fact that Agarans would be especially cruel to florans, instead of giving them the nickname "Kissface".
Second, we can infer that the relation is not Neutralism, since there's clearly some sort of relation between the two.
Third, we can infer that it isn't Competition, since once again, the Florans and Agarans appear friendly, and agarans grow sugarcane while Florans are hunters.
Finally, we can infer that it isn't Parasitism, since the agarans call Florans kissface, and Florans also appear calm or friendly around certain agaran structures.

Additionally, Charlton McVicar stated that Agarans haven't been attacking Florans.
That immediately narrows it down, without inferences, to Commensalism, Mutualism, Competition, or Neutralism anyway.

Hab hoom, Kissface! Kissface lay pod let Agaran put spores on? (Like Fish putting sperm on eggs).

Theory: Perhaps the bad Agarans are imprisoning Florans because the Apex and/or Greenfinger experimented to make them an independent species that reproduced sexually or asexually?

I don't feel that analysis very well works out either predation or parasitism.

Kissface is entirely a statement open for interpretation. It could equally be insulting or a neutral description of florans and even assuming the Agarans do love Florans, it doesn't mean that what they do is benefitial for Florans.

Stalkers love their targets, they're still quite willing to cause harm physically and emotionally to them.

Similarly, Floran responses to Agarans have been on the sliding scale of disturbed or awkward. The only definitely positive statement from florans is in regard to Agaran mushrooms.

Good point, however the florans are friendly back to the agarans, so unless its a case of species wide stockholm-syndrome, i'd say that it makes sense.

I'm in 7, but it's still not there. Do I have to leave and go back?

@Owl_Stalker You'll never believe it. I updated, teleported to my home planet, the whole thing had changed and the structure was there! So pocketing that huge pod.

Okay, so, I'm all for the possibility that the Agaran are misunderstood. I don't feel right passing judgment on them without some solid proof of their mischievous actions. I take everything I find with a grain of salt, but...

The system is called X Crateris Minoris. The lack of any extraneous numbers on it is what drove me to explore its planets. The name made it stand out significantly.

X Crateris Minoris I, the first planet on the list. It's a tier 6 tentacle biome, infamous for being the creepiest and most mysterious of the biomes. Finding one on the first planet in a system that stood out anyway - I just had to see what was up.

    2014-04-09_00001.jpg

First off, I had never seen a Tentacle planet that was half covered in snow. Second off, I had never seen a building like this before. It was built a bit like an Apex house, but it seemed to be a bit overrun. I approached, expecting to find it occupied by some stray Florans.

    2014-04-09_00002.jpg

I was wrong. Three Agaran were living here, glowing mushrooms being used as lights and a fungal pod smack dab in the middle of the structure.

    2014-04-09_00004.jpg

And a second fungal pod further down. At the end of the house, there was a pool of poisonous water.

    2014-04-09_00005.jpg

With an Apex High-Tech Chest floating in the middle. The contents were nothing to write home about, just some ore and torches. Now, again, I'm not one to judge, so I encourage everyone to go check out this planet for themselves and make their own decision.

Abandoned or overrun? That is the question.

@Owl_Stalker I switched back now that I got the pod. I scanned a bunch of items, and got them ready to be used for a big village I want to build after the world wipe. I'll keep birds out with a glass line. And I'll make places to worship the pods as GODS!!!

I'm not the one doing it. I'm just gonna build near Agarans. And they aren't the empty ones. And people like you are like the Aldmeri Dominion or the Stormcloaks. We don't know what they want. They're just younger (psychologically) Florans.

We don't know that they're psychologically Floran like. Young or otherwise.

I meant that they are like Florans, just younger in the way they think. P.S. Is your reply button broken?

I realize this is an old post, but I need to ask, where is your proof? There are explorers everywhere, exploring both the universe and the code that makes it up, and no one has found any Agaran prisons containing Avians.

One probably wandered in on that note. I vote therapy is in order. This reminds me of when Americans imprisoned Japanese immigrants in World War 2. :(
