So the new purpose is to kill the lone, but save the villages? I kind of already killed a whole village and destroyed any evidence of a mushroom biome.

 

I called it the ADF. Agaran Destruction Force. I like AEI better though.

 

Yeah I saw that, but I think erradication sounds a bit more 'genocide of an entire race'-y

 

Order 66 is to kill the Jedi. Are you implying that the Agarans are in fact Knights of the Jedi Order?

A few weeks ago, I might have agreed with you on your eradication of the Agaran race. However, I have had a change of heart. I recently accepted some Agarans from a town on the other side of my planet into my multi-racial village. They have peacefully integrated, and have shown no signs of aggression at all. They even seem to get along well with one of the Floran guards who patrols in the Agaran section of town.

I am now in agreement with Owl_Stalker. The solitary or small groups of Agarans who imprison and torture Florans must be treated for their crimes, but the town go-ers and merchants are peaceful and should not be.

 

They're getting worse.

I reckon that the agarans simply use their victims bodies, turning their bodies into agaran warriors. The less evolved are just mushroom people, purely made of mushroom

Say hello to the newest marvel in human technology, the Death Star. Originally designed and prototyped to use against the Floran's in the Floran Crusader Wars, this fully operational battlestation has now been commissioned by U.S.C.M Supreme Commander Hawk Novablast to be used to combat the Agaran Menace. Any planets containing Agaran's are to be brought to the attention of the Supreme Commander via a private message. Inhabitants will be given one month to gather personal belongings and leave the planet, after passing through several quarantine chambers. After this month, the Death Star will fire upon the planet, obliterating it, and insuring this menace does not spread further. This space station, despite popular belief, is not a moon, and is commandeered by Grand Moff William Tarkus, one of the most experienced men in the U.S.C.M Navy.

Floran Crusader Wars. Haven't heard of those. Only Floran/Human battles I know of is the one where you angered a village of Florans and underestimated the power of a good old bow and arrow or a javelin being thrown through an "armored" face visor, so you needed to nearly drown us in intoxicating herbicide. Nice attempt at chemical warfare, by the way. Guess you guys abandoned that whole "Geneva Convention" thing once a tentacle ripped Geneva place into little chunks.

 

All military, commercial, and private space ships must be equipped with a disinfecting shower immediately. Failure to follow this procedure will result in said spaceship being eliminated.
Also, I think the general's name was spelt with C's in the video.

That's the nickname for the various battles we had with your race during your rapid expansion into the galaxy. I happened to be the commander of the Sabre-Class Battlecruiser that led that battle, so I appreciate the compliment And yes, humanity does seem to have A Problem With Tentacles

Oh yeah, and just a bit of fun to brighten things up after that overwhelmingly dark hole (teehee) did you know that Mushrooms are possibly the largest singular life form on earth? This is because some types of larger mushrooms (Not the puny ones you find on the sides of trees or as pizza toppings) are sometimes connected through tiny, fragile underground wires? Mushrooms like most fungi are also parasitic...so...pluh.

 

It's going to be an invasion of the pod people, but who created them, and who controls them (or lost control)? Better yet, get a genetic sampler to confirm who you deal with, trust NO ONE, and keep your laser handy... Keep using level 3 biohazard protocols (or greater) at ALL times.

 

It would be more accurate to say that fungi are the largest organisms. A mushroom typically refers to only the part we imagine when we say Mushroom. However, as you mentioned, many mushrooms can be connected together below the surface of the Earth by Hyphae, which is basically just fungal matter. The largest known is a 'Armillaria ostoyae' found in Oregon and appears to encompass 2,384 acres. It is well over 2,000 years old. It secretes digestive enzymes into tree roots. The Rhizomorphs that it extends allow it to bridge the gap between food sources and are the reason a single organism can cover so much land.

However, there are also large groups of trees that are all clones of eachother connected by root systems which can be considered single individual life forms as well. Nevertheless, the fungus still wins.

 

Is Mycelium not the same as Hyphae? I'm a little confused.
