Actually, I believe those are Rainbowmen, beings aren't quite finished, as they use Apex lines and look like rainbow bunny men. They haven't acknowledged them as an NPC type yet, so I guess they are partially "unimplemented".

They retconned "rapidly" out of it at the very least.
And it isn't Florans in general reverse engineer anymore from what I can tell, I think they changed the lore to point to Greenfinger on that one.
They point to Greenfinger for a lot of things, really. Most Florans aren't exactly brilliant and it's heavily implied that Greenfinger made them all what they are.

This is for the most part true. However, considering that the reason why Drysap treatment hasn't been adopted by all the florans is because that it is more likely to fail the smarter the subject is, one could infer that there are plenty of smart florans.

Also, the fact that Florans had an apex ship doesn't guarantee their involvement in the first Floran spaceflight. The Florans and Apex are allies, so your character's ship could've just been taken from friendly Apex and adapted to Floran needs.

Floran and Apex are not allies.

Apex meat is a delicacy in Floran culture. So the ship technology was more than likely stolen and reverse engineered.

The Glitch were the ones who taught the Florans how to read and write.

The Florans and Apex are allies as far as Big Ape and Greenfinger get along. Thornwing and some other mysterious party are also involved with their little gang of crazy.

Then explain why the Floran ship is just an Apex ship covered in vines?

Only Avian lore was pretty much changed sofar.

The Florans were carnivores instead of producers, like normal plants. The Apex are very smart instead of stupid like modern day apes. The amphibious Hylotl are vegetarians instead of insect eating frogs. The humans are humans. The Avian are partially religious birds that don't fly. The Glitch are knights instead of being high-tech scientists.

Fungi are decomposers. They destroy dead things. So let us reverse that! Instead of destroying dead things, they may make dead things, destroy living things, or make living things.
We shall call this... THE RAZEY THEORY!

No. Naming a theory after the lore-writer implies that theory is to be attributed to that lore-writer. He did not put forth that theory.

I just encountered these fellows. They called me a Clankbeast i think. Quite rude honestly. But didn't seem that hostile. They sure did like this water pot.....thingy. Also there was a Floran with a mush room head down there when i found them...I think she drowned :<

This is another thing I felt like bringing up. The possible connection between Mushroom-headed florans, and the Agarans.

I think Thornwing is one of those Avian Asssassins. The Helion, Helios or something.

There are no allies, their co-operation is simply to deal with the tentacle threat (heavily implied by the lore), there are many examples of floran, apex and avians killing each other in the codex. Even the glitch and the floran who get along well could hardly be classed as allies, there are no major alliances or superpowers, just a collection of paranoid races that only really co-operate when its beneficial to their party.

Thornwing is the current leader of the avians (grounded not included), i agree that the Helions are avian but i very much doubt hes one. The lore states that he once hired a Helion to kill off one of his rivals, showing he is definitely more likely to be a political figure than an assassin.

since this has never been attempted before, they clearly don't have any experience of escaping form a dimondillium dome (bare in mind that only the spores could get that far off the surface).

you're character got the ship by stealing it from the hivemind, so they can. Also there are a lot more hive-mind glitch than self-aware ones.

Dubious. Where does it state this in the lore? The Glitch Introduction states that the Glitch have failed to evolve beyond basic construction capabilities, and Glitch lore states self-aware Glitch have access to advanced knowledge, with the implication that the unawakened Glitch do not.

Pride. This implies that this unit constructed his own ship.
Reverent. All hail the Machine God.

Big Ape and Greenfinger do co-operate, Greenfinger helped apex scientists with some kind of project (Which was related to the floran secret somehow).
Tentacle monster isn't a threat to any other race than humans apparently, at least I haven't seen any mention of it would.

I also doubt that Thornwing is "the leader" of avian race. I think he's only the leader of Ring of Thorns, as it has not been hinted otherwise.

May have mixed it with the apex....my bad, but that lore clearly states from a narrative point of view that those glitch were insane (the glitch with plasma swords you find in the futuristic complexes), it is much more likely that you are one of the more recent glitch (and based on the fact that the 'free' glitch aren't all insane)
    Then he gets her assassinated.

The tentacles are spreading uncontrollably and Greenfinger states that its dangerous/worrying.

I used leader for lack of a better word, i know that its most likely an over-exaggeration, my point was he's a political figure not an assassin.

Getting out of character here to just clarify on this. The self-aware Glitch are not insane, they are erroneously viewed as insane by the hive-mind Glitch. To anyone else the self-aware Glitch are rather normal people, aside from being more awesome due to being robots.

I believe the ones in the futuristic complex you're talking about are the ones in the Crystal Laboratory. Those tend to be guarded by Avians as well, and in all cases it seems the guards are compelled by something to guard the locations, so they aren't typical for any race.
