(note that the line "His name is Hish'eth and he said I knew my mother." has a typo, it should be "he said he knew my mother"
The fact that he refers to them as "these creatures" indicates that he does not share their species (and Hish'eth is not an Avian name, anyhow).
Also FYI the towerascendant codexes are Thornwing's diary.

Winged Demons could mean Penguins OR Eye Guards. Eye guards seem to be Glitch in nature, while Penguins are something else entirely. Either way works, really, since it's so vague, and really either group would have plenty of reason to create a Bone Dragon.
Yes, Fungus grows better in cold, damp places, i.e. not the deserts that I'm finding Agarans in.

 

They seem to be housing lava in a leafy pit.
There also seems to be a sort of storage... cacoon... In the bottom of it.

 

Nowhere is safe...​

 

I believe the cocoon is used to dry the Florans out under the lava, and then use the spores to turn them into Agarans.

 

No.... NOOOOOO!!!!!
Wait.... that thing's smaller than a glass vial. We can just step on it...

 

My agarans are always friendly, and there were no florans involved.
Also they were trying to farm and clean up a frickin desert.

 

Well, i've found these Agarans guarding lava and water pits with those glowing things in the bottom. They are not hostile- at least not immediately after contact. I managed to get one of those big red glowing monsters to chase me to the place where the agarans were located and they said "you again!?!?" and after we all killed the monster they stood hostile and attacked me. I'm sure i didn't hit any of them at all, i use a sniper and love it so i like to take clean shots only, especially when there're othere species involved in combat.
Well, there was also this floran beauty walking around the pit and she said: "floran look after human.... for now".... wth

 

Wow that thing looks different from the ones in the other drawing. Assuming they are supposed to be the same (which we are yet to find out) then i'd say that even in spite of their size they look like big trouble does look like an agaran head? Maybe these branchy things emerge from within giving place to the other type of agaran? Hey, that's interesting!

 

I'm guessing these things are dead Agaran's, more Agaran's must grow out of the head to reproduce.

 

One might wonder how safe it is to wear those "hats"...

 

Probably not at all safe. Given that you're wearing a fungus entity's head...
yeah, that's REALLY going to end well.

 

Safety? You can wear a barrel of toxic waste on your back. And you don't buckle up to fly a spaceship. Safety isn't for this game.

Omfg so those cocoons grow real big :s i'm gonna kill each Agaran i see from now on :s we can't afford the risk.. having to write a log named "The problem without tentacles"

Hey, aren't those glowing plants of Floran origin? I dunno if i should trust the florans who i share my moon base with anymore

 

Great job, now I'm thinking of those mushroom houses from Morrowind. Except evil.
