They tossed a floran and a birdman in to a pit of poison. Malevolent :(

...In what manner? Got any screenshots?

What, you were hacked, or you forgot it? It really sucks to forget a password... Especially when your little brother makes you accidentally log out of skype and you have no clue which password it is... :(

I don't. but I came across a huge plantjar of poison water twice. Once it had a Floran and the other time it had an Avian.

To say nothing of the times I came across Apex stuck inside of their pods!

Clearly they are a mushroomoid abomination.

    (also, tasty)

These sorts of posts don't contribute to discussion. Please stop.

    Also, it's spelled "Hylotl".

Yeah if we could cut down on roleplay, and focus on the discussion, that would be excellent.

I still haven't found any of the giant pods, only the small ones just bigger than the player, and one destroyed apex facility.

Has anyone found that these things are more likely to spawn in certain biomes/planet types? Might have something to do with how the Agaran deal with climate, etc. that they might only thrive in some climates. If they spawn on all kinds of biomes, they must adapt well.

I found a giant one that had a sheep sound coming from it at one point, when you "activate" it.

The "plantjar" I mention though wasn't an item, it was a building. I've seen jars of water, poison, and lava, all of them had people inside of them save for the lava ones (whom presumably did but died too quickly to find out).

Don't get me wrong, RP is super cool if it contributes to the discussion.

    Okay! Time to be productive!
A good way to investigate the Shroomen is to use a Floran Character, they seem to know, if you use the Magnifying class on one of the large mushrooms as the Floran, he says "Floran knows your secret, floran keep quiet.", And on one of the smaller pods that you can find around certain Shroomen areas, the Floran says "Smells familiar, Floran is scared."
Well, i'm paraphrasing, but those are the main parts of what they say.
Unfortunately, the magnifying glass fails to work on NPCs, perhaps later on...

Yeah, it doesn't work on NPCs yet. Which is a shame, I'd love to see a nice variety of inspection results for the various races, randomizing which one you get for each villager, having different ones for guards and other hostile NPCs, et cetera.

They aren't, allies don't take priosners of the allied species. They hate florans, and Hylotl. Basically everyone.

Then why would one of our few canon sources say that the Agarans aren't attacking the Florans?

If they aren't attacking Florans, why did I see them push a Floran in to a vat of poison?

I think yo'ure underestimating the malice of the Mushroom Men.

The floran's AI caused it to walk into the poison. They cannot push.

Doesn't change that someone imprisoned the Floran with a vat of poison, and the only ones around were the Agarans...at least it wasn't lava, I've also seen floran imprisoned with lava and if you dont free them fast enough, they fall in and die horribly D:

I agree entirely, If it drops hats it must be killed for the greater good (ie. so my Floran can roll around in a huge vault full of hats).

    Also, I RETURN!!!

I never said they weren't attacking Florans, all I said was that they took prisoners of them. Maybe if you were to think before you replied, it'd really help me, because wasting my time explaining myself to you doesn't sound very fun.

I'm sorry if I don't understand, but you kinda just... You know... Stated what you said again. I was trying to contradict your post.
In McVicar's "Attack of the Deep Space Spores", he stated that " The Agarans aren't attacking the Florans, they're -"

This immediately narrows the relation between the Agarans and Florans to neutral, one group benefits, or both groups benefits. While this makes a 2/3 chance that they aren't allied, they won't be enemies based on the fact that no negative things when between their relationships.
