That ONE noise

Listen I know there is a lot of posts about this sound already, but I'll tell it to you anyway. I find it hard to go back to playing starbound because this one fly noise that always plays when I'm on a forest planet. Yes, I know you're thinking, "Well it's only a noise!" well try building a base in the game when that noise seems to play every 3 seconds! Not a noise to be overlooked now right? I hope that soon this noise is taken out of the game so I can play starbound without having to worry about being driven out of the game due to a noise.

 

ive read a few posts mentioning this. i, myself, reside on a forest planet and i cant say as i notice it. i do have a few tesla coils and plasma disks here and there making noise but i dont notice it when exploring either.
meh...lucky me i guess!

 

I find the sound relaxing. ^w^ Buzz buzz!

On the contrary, whenever I go to a grasslands planet this one bird sound constantly distracts me.

 

the music on a tentacle planet always creeps me out.

ive never noticed this particular sound. then again, i do not spent a whole lot of time on forest planets.

Personally, though, I'm not bugged. At least it's not mixed in a way that actually sounds like a bug is attacking my face, to me at least. Some games with crazy sound mixing make things like that sound too realistic and I sometimes physically look around. I'm more listening for the weird horse or goat noises whatever hostile life has chosen for the current planet.

 

use a mod and replace it with a vuvuzela noise

i do remember hearing a "clack-clack, clack-clack" like noise when i had the music on loud. it was most noticeable with one of the day-tracks. it was extra annoying for me since im sensitive to repetetive noises that shouldnt be there. (like someone clicking a pen or tapping their feet or drumming their fingers)
also, is there a way to remove the sound saw-blade traps make? that sound seriously give me headaches

I get creeped out by the fact that this is used as background for certain fanarts...

 

I love the tentacle planet music. I think I'll make my main homeworld on a tentacle planet just for the music!
